Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah it was. But it was called a hot-rod Strat at first before hitting the market IIRC. I think it was a way to make a cheaper mass produced version of the Richie Sambora Strat (no star inlays, but same pickups).

The CAR Jackson started with Jackson pickups. The polepieces give that away. No DiMarzio or Duncan has those. NPFTD was likely recorded with those. What happened afterwards is a mistery.

I'd bet that the first 2 were recorded with the Jackson. Not sure about the other two as the 3 tone sunburst and blue sunburst Fenders (refinished to cream) entered the picture at that point.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think the CAR/Burgundy Jackson had Jackson pickups and they were swapped with Duncans at some point. Possibly around the recording of FOTD. That CAR Strat is apparently a hot-rod Strat prototype recieved from Fender and it had a DH-1.

This is a very bad replica... Recess route, it's white instead of vintage white, 22 frets instead of 21, etc... But, the pickups on the originals were DiMarzios. No Duncans were used before the appearance of Jacksons at least, or even the 3 tone and blue sunburst Strats in 1992.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

It's an educated guess. Jackson mostly built their own pickups in the late 80s and they were quite popular due to high output at the time. I'm going on the basis of Adrian saying that when he recieved the HSH Jackson, he didn't change a thing and it was perfect. Also, they look like in-house...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

The SG's... It seems like Adrian had 2 SG's by the time of World Piece tour. The woodgrains don't match at all and the 2nd one's pickups are much further apart. They probably both had Bigsbies at that point. The first one is the one that H played again between 2005 and 2013 and AMLOAD videos...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I'm pretty sure those are Jackson pickups, same as on Adrian's Jackson. They could've been swapped in the mid-90 when Dave went full Seymour Duncan.

That's an SG Junior with a single P90. Probably wasn't useful for the stage due to hum.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

And Adrian's is basically a HSS Charvel with different pickups and headstock. What bothers me the most is that they haven't even released the Janick Strat with current specs.... Black parts and Hot Rails in the middle.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think those could've been Jackson humbuckers, same as on Adrian's Jackson. The black-humbucker cream Strat had JB-59 for sure. I think the Les Paul Axcess still has this combo, while the HSH Strats have 2 bridge JB's.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Kinda sucks that they put the SD '59 into the black Murray Strat. Going for 2 bridge JB's would be the most accurate or even SH-2 (Jazz/JB neck) would be a better match to Dave's current tone.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I was thinking about it, but seeing the price, I think I'll stick with my original plan of a HSS player 2 in black, black pickguard, custom made humbucker and middle pickups, DiMarzio Blues stacked SC in neck, locking tuners, 1 volume and 1 tone and a Gotoh 510 bridge. Gilmour switch and neck...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

The bridge on the white one was wrong, because of the unavailibility of Badass bridges. Similar story happened with Geddy Lee signature Jazz. Fender produced their version of a hi-mass bridge.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah SD is also a ceramic high-output magnet, so there shouldn't be a lot of difference. Neck pickup was only ever used by Adrian on the beginning of Infinite Dreams so, there is not a lot of examples of that. Bridge pickup was switched to a white Super Distortion in the late 90s anyway.
