It's funny that, despite being transitional, September and October don't give me the same off-feeling as March does. Might be because I love the autumn and am happy to see it again, or because it feels like a more natural progression, whereas winter > spring feels a bit more sudden.

That's true, even here I've seen record-breaking warmth and snow in April, in separate years obviously. I like April though, for me it generally feels quite calm. We've left the quiet winter behind (though I do still like winter too), things are picking up but we're not in the chaos of summer yet.

Anyone else find March has a weird vibe? I think it's because it's a transitional month between winter and spring, starting in one season and ending in another makes it feel like it hasn't got its own identity. I kinda think of it as the real start of the year as well, January and February feel...
