    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

We've been looking at different models, I missed the "blue one" part and thought you were looking at this: https://www.thomann.co.uk/esp_ltd_as_1_fr_alex_skolnick_lb.htm (I still have no idea how to convert links to text on this site ) Well, they do work well together. I had them in my...

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

I dunno if it's quite top tier but it'll be a fine guitar for certain. Plus if you get bored of the JB/59 combo (yawn) you can get some Seymour Duncan Alex Skolnick signature pickups and still have spent less than you would have if you'd bought his signature guitar

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

It's not an issue so much, I guess I just find it a little strange as I've just always known LTD as the affordable equivalent of ESP, but now they've grown to the point that they can charge the same prices as some ESP/E-II models. Now they're an equivalent or almost becoming a replacement to...

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

Friend of mine's got an EC-1000, the satin black one with gold hardware and EMG pickups - those aren't really for me, but I've have a few goes of it and it plays really nicely. He's had it for over three years now, plays it pretty heavily with his theatre group and has had no problems with it...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

I think nearly everybody is very much aware of the issues in Maiden's history, so it's not like Maiden are hiding anything by not including them in this documentary. You can go back right to the start of Maiden's career with the firings of Dennis Stratton and Paul Di'Anno, the latter of which is...

    NOW WATCHING

Watched the last episode of series 3 of INVINCIBLE. Pretty solid, I think the penultimate episode was stronger and more dramatic but I still think it was a good conclusion, but I was a little disappointed the fates of are still unknown. The main battle was good, the animation's taken a huge...

    Which is the Worst Eddie?

The colours of the '98 version bug me more than Eddie, the beige/brown is quite ugly. Are you an Eddie/Edward, too? I will fight you for that title.:fencing:

    Mastodon

First song with Brent's (temporary?) replacement; Ben Eller a.k.a. your biological step-dad Uncle Ben, YouTube guitarist. Really pleased for Ben, I've been following him for a while. Most YouTube guitarists are insufferable pricks but Ben seems very genuine, funny, informative and is an awesome...

    Which is the Worst Eddie?

I like Cloud Eddie too, it's an interesting concept. Is he a god, looking down from a heaven? Is he looking over this brave new world fondly, pleased that its people are safe and content and knowing that he doesn't need a physical form to protect it? Or is he evil, looming unseen in the clouds...

Why would he think The Evil That Men Do was a good choice if he stopped being a fan in '87?

Autumn is absolutely my favourite season too. I love the warm colours of the lower sun and the changing leaves, I can catch the sunrise on my drive to work, the weather is cool without being uncomfortably cold, and I much prefer wearing warmer clothes, I look better and feel more comfortable in...

It's funny that, despite being transitional, September and October don't give me the same off-feeling as March does. Might be because I love the autumn and am happy to see it again, or because it feels like a more natural progression, whereas winter > spring feels a bit more sudden.

That's true, even here I've seen record-breaking warmth and snow in April, in separate years obviously. I like April though, for me it generally feels quite calm. We've left the quiet winter behind (though I do still like winter too), things are picking up but we're not in the chaos of summer yet.

Anyone else find March has a weird vibe? I think it's because it's a transitional month between winter and spring, starting in one season and ending in another makes it feel like it hasn't got its own identity. I kinda think of it as the real start of the year as well, January and February feel...
