Judas Priest
King's X

Bob Dylan
The Beatles
The Velvet Underground
The Flaming Lips

Tool
Black Sabbath

I just... don't understand.

The thread asks "Where does Iron Maiden stand in your top 10 bands of all time?"

Where does it ask you to make a comment-less list-only post?

That's alright. I enjoyed seeing the many kind of variations of the measuring sticks. If someone has considered them an all-time great - what others were, too? If someone didn't consider them an all-time great - which ones were?

Iron Maiden and Rush, tied at number 1 (no changes in years)
Then very close to the top there is Fates Warning, all of Dio (Rainbow, Black Sabbath and solo), Genesis (Peter Gabriel era only), UFO (Michael Schenker era), Michael Schenker Group (logical, ain't it?)

Some of these are not metal/rock bands but here goes

1. Iron Maiden
2. The Rippingtons
3. Def Leppard
4. Anything Ronnie James Dio
5. Anything Phil Collins (Genesis and solo work)
6. Foreigner
7. Paul Hardcastle
8. Peter Gabriel (Genesis and solo work)
9. Dokken
10. Alice Cooper
