First gig without Fear of the Dark since 21 years!
Just got back to the hotel from the Paris show.
The power cut was honestly a massive bummer, because the band was playing with absolute fire and energy that exceeds what I've seen from them in quite a while. Crowd was phenomenal too, the pouches made a massive difference.
Even after they started back up, they were playing really really well. I hope they have the footage they need to release it as a live album because it was an exceptional show.
If I had to guess, they will salvage 2M2M and the encore from last year's Paris shows. Either that or just lean into Eddie pulling the plug eh

Fantastic gig. They came back with even more energy. Great attitude. And Dave rules.

It was the best show I've seen so far (my 4th). Crowd was on fire, definitely more than last year. Bruce said "La Défense Arena shits on you, I prefer Bercy" because of the curfew. So frustrated right now.

They could combine both nights into one Maiden styled edit tho lol. Last years show they do have the soundboard audio and video feed footage splice that in with the best of tonights show and you have a DVD where we can spot all the poor editing they are famous for

Doubtful, they would want an indoor show or somewhere where the entire show is in darkness not natural sunlight for half of it

Very sad that this happened on the worst possible night. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.
I suspect they'll just use the show as it is. They went to all that effort of getting the phone pouches so I dont think they'll want to use footage from other shows mixed in (unless they skip the wide/crowd shots to hide it)
I also can't see them rehiring additional camera crew etc to record another show.

That’s exactement that. I took the last train and the venue is quitte far from Paris centre.
