People were claiming they couldn't have sell out a stadium in the UK because "selling out 2 nights at the same venue (O2 in that case) doesn't mean they can sell out a big stadium".

And yet here we are. It must also be noted that it doesn't take a complete sell out to have a succesful show.

If they book only two or three shows in Germany, Olympiastadion in Munich and Berlin would be a good choice. Both of them are 60K+ for live shows. With Koln or Hamburg (40k), we would have 3 concerts for 165k in Germany. Pretty likely for Maiden.

The Olympic Stadium in Munich will not be available.

I've seen this year's tour at a stadium and at Waldbuehne (with a smaller screen and everything). It's a lot better in a smaller venue, always.

It's not about what's better or worse. They're a stadium band and they will play more and more stadiums in the coming legs.

Absolutely, especially when they are older and will probably play fewer shows around. I think the European leg next year is assured, probably 20+ shows. Both Americas are next, although they will add 7-8 dates in Asia and Oceania between Europe and NA, so there will be space for only 18-22 shows in the US/Canada and Mexico. Maybe we will see some stadium dates in North America this time. I think IM will play some 50 - 55 dates next year.

I guess you have to clarify North America here. I can imagine from bootlegs and fan accounts that the outdoor vibe for European shows can be quite different than the county fair atmosphere of an American amphitheater concert.

Although after my experience at the Tacoma Dome last year I would like to submit that even worse vibes for a Maiden concert than an outdoor amphitheater is seeing Maiden in a literal barn.

Yes, this. I would jump at the chance to see a European festival show.

But American amphitheaters are just giant, awful structures with bad sound and bad accessibility (and $25 beers). Plus, allowing daylight in ruins the vibe for the opener and will no doubt look worse for Maiden's new screens. If the sound is gonna be mediocre at best anyway, at least in an indoor arena I know that the show won't be cancelled due to weather.
 
I actually didn't realize Maiden were still playing amphitheaters in North America. I guess I've been lucky that every show since 2016 has been indoors for me after everything up to 2013 being outdoors.

I was at the show at the Spectrum last year as well. I'm a big guy and I don't recall the seats being an issue. I would prefer they come to Atlanta next year but hope they would play Ameris Bank Amphitheater or State Farm Arena (indoor) instead of Lakewood.
 
The European outdoor vibe mentioned is the main difference i have found in the 2 stadium shows i`ve seen in Europe compared to the UK indoor gigs. More energy and a generally more crazy vibe during the songs. I would agree however that the lack of darkness during the gig and usually poorer sound quality is an issue.

I am a bit of a sucker for a big stadium full of people though and have been since seeing the size of the Azteca Stadium in the World Cup 1986 as a kid.

Similar to what happened in Rock In Rio 1985:
From around 2:02 onwards, he’s stomping out small fires.
Always remember these things, as with Revelations as Bruce accidently hits his guitar to his forehead and it bleeds.
There were some sound problems and I think it was evident during Hallowed Be Thy Name, as he cursed something to the soundman (and we get to hear it).

I know it's not what happened, but my brain connected the high "oooh" at the end of the verse with him stomping out the last of the fire, so my new head canon is that he burned himself and that's what Bruce sounds like when he's hurt :D
