RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I'm guessing a whole new big Eddie. Wouldn't mind Mummy and your Phantom idea is interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the original punk Eddie this time around.
Wlaking eddie during the clairvoyant/the evil that men do and will be like the one in the poster of the tour. And the big one i hope another different becuase that eddie fron the poster reminds me the eddie from BYDTTS. Not bad but meh...

I still believe Rime and Powerslave are possible.
But then that's all for the Powerslave album.
Those for me are now 100% on the set. Aces high ,i doubt. If they are going to do greatest hits maybe aces but...again? What are going to do,they had a spitfire on stage during legacy. Be quick or be dead is my hope but i think that will blow our minds( die hard fans) not the whole audience. 30% of the audience will not know the song

Very very meh.. Big Eddie should be a mummy and as a compromise in a leather jacket.

And i really want PowerRime. Badly.

I just can’t understand why, after such a nice and intricate Future Past tour poster, they decided to go with something so underdeveloped and meh.
Oh wait—I know. It’s Steve’s brilliant idea to "go back to the art roots." Again!
For a 50th anniversary tour? Bad call, if you ask me. That artwork feels lazy and weak—nowhere near the quality of the first and second album eras, or their early singles.

big eddie can be the Tree Eddie (Fear of the Dark) or the Bat Eddie above the stage on Monsters of Rock 92 stage? but during which song? so many things will be revealed at the first gig, countdown is getting hotter each day, hopefully I'll be there :dancinggeek:

Come on it's the first single and the first song of their probably biggest commercial success which is Fear of the Dark album! I think because of Maiden members themselves, Maiden fans don't trust their favorite songs. Be Quick is like Battery of Metallica. Or Hit the Lights or Blackened... Metallica start their shows with such songs and they weren't even singles, they didn't have videos, etc...

I don't think so. If we measure success by album sales, Number, POM and Powerslave are bigger commercial successes. (all the 80s tbf were bigger successes). +all of them aged better. Fear of the Dark without the title track would be a very hated album. (don't get me wrong I like Be Quick, but in general it's not even close to the 80s albums). Fear of the dark (the song) is a huge success and it's still their most viewed song on YT.
The Be Quick single did well back then, but it's success is not comparable to the success of the earlier songs. BYDTTS, for example, sold a lot more.

I agree, that's why i said "probably", but "one of" would have been a better term. Still: at the time it was huge. The third number 1 album on british charts when charts mean a lot. And that was in 1992, when grunge ruled the earth and "killed" metal. so it was a big deal for metal.

It was,but now? I love the song but im not sure many people apart from fans will recognize the song. But im sure maiden will play deep cuts (like you call them)
Only the good die young would be the surprise
Be quick or be dead infinte dreams or still life too.
The rest we almost expect them

Fear of the dark, afraid to shoot strangers and be quick or be dead were very popular in 92 93.

I have a strong instinct that the tour will start with Phantom of the Opera. Just like they surprised everybody by starting with Number of the Beast in Give'em Ed tour. The intro of Phantom is suitable for Maiden's favorite thing: "first playback guitars and explosive entrance" formula.
I always thought Be Quick would be kept for the first encore song but since Bruce said that the 30 minutes will be surprising, I took it back to the first half, maybe directly after Phantom or after a second song which has a jumping / clamping nuance, probably 2 Minutes.
Yeah, Phantom could be the surprising opener, as odd as it sounds. And it has crowd participation, but not with vocals. It's difficult to predict.

I can't imagine Be Quick other in the set, but why not. Like Tailgunner in 1992.
This makes sense. The only thing I don't like is Phantom opener. It might be 4th song or something. I said before that I think a Phantom Eddie might appear, but they could just have 2-3 different Eddies this tour. I, also, don't think Be Quick will be played. The opener is the most difficult to predict.
Die with your boots on has a good chance to feature, it's either that or Where Eagles Dare/ Revelations/Still Life. It's between 4 songs imo. If Revelations is saved for Bruce's tour, then it's between 3 songs. I want Still Life and it makes sense as a Nicko-tribute but WED makes sense also. Still Life is a song that wasn't played in ME2 too.
Infinite Dreams and Killers are very likely. Infinite Dreams is more likely than Killers. I don't know if they'll do 2 songs off Killers and Wrathchild hasn't been played for a while and we all know that they like to throw it in every setlist.
The Clairvoyant is the likeliest song off SSOASS imo. It's almost a given. The Clairvoyant eyes in the poster, the single poster in the store, everything.
I also don't think they will skip SIT. 1 song will be played. I don't think CSIT and HCW have any chance. Deja Vu and Sea of Madness don't make sense because they have a lot of shorter songs to pick from other albums. So it's Loneliness, if they want to surprise us or Wasted Years/Stranger (maybe Alexander back to back? I doubt it)
The 90s are either too easy or too difficult to predict. I think they will just play Fear of the Dark and maybe Daughter too. They might just skip No prayer. Bruce said in this last interview that the tour will feature the first 7 albums. It might be a mistake or a hint. Also, no 90s poster in the store. I don't think the store posters are setlist hints, but they are merch hints.
Bruce probably misremembered the albums, he does that. Merch hint? Maybe, after all they won't use the 90's albums for this, right.
A SIT song is still 50/50 after the latest tour (Alexander? not sure at all), but songs like Infinite Dreams, Killers, Clairvoyant and even OTGDY sounds more likely by the day. The potential POM deep cut is curious too. Sea a shorter song?
Be quick or be dead is my hope but i think that will blow our minds( die hard fans) not the whole audience.
With effects on the screens and raw energy?
The poster Eddie is the definition of meh. I hope he is only in the poster. Don't want him running around or as an inflatable
Wow, I think it's a really well done art (more than some album tour arts... we didn't have a proper one for SJ, still sad about that). It's basically Killers Eddie, so it'll be used for a walk-on at least (like LOTB original Eddie). For the big Eddie is hard to guess, but I think it'll be different.

They could have combined all 9 Eddies for it in one big landscape art, it would have been epic, perfect and special for this tour, but for some reason they went with the classic design from the early days. More iconic? TFP theme and idea were perfect for a different and interesting poster. I doubt Steve was thinking about ''back to the roots'' again.

Actually this big Eddie thing bugs me the most, another scenario that comes to my mind is the Phantom of the Opera will be the main epic and there will be a big Phantom Eddie during that song in the middle)
Phantom Eddie on the screens, quite possible. The song to be the main epic of the tour? I doubt it. It was in 2005.

Phantom could be the opener with the band running during that "oh yeah"
If they play tailgunner and not bqobd that would be a surprise. A bad one

I dream of opening with Transylvania.
I dream of Prowler, Another Life, Infinite Dreams, Moonchild, Still Life, Murders in the Rue Morgue, Holy Smoke making the setlist.
I dream of Run to the Hills, Runing Free, Sanctuary, Heaven Can Wait, Sea of Madness NOT making the setlist.
I dream of Stranger in a Strange Land remaining in the setlist.
A man can dream... I guess.
