I think they needed the reunion to accomplish what they have in the past 14 years. I'm not sure how Adrian would have ended up back in the fold without the Bruce split though.
I haven't listened to the older CD's in while, but I do remember the remasters sounding punchier to me. Of course I'm sure that's due to compression. One thing I hate is how the intro to that track Powerslave is at the end of Back in the Village, I never understood that.
Roy Z hinted on his personal facebook that he's working with Bruce on some new material. He posted a picture of him and Bruce, I asked him him if they're writing new music together and he "liked" my comment. He's made other hints elsewhere as well.
I was just wondering what people think may have happened if Bruce didn't leave in 93.
A. Maiden continue to sell millions of records and play large venues like they did then and from 2000 on.
B. The 90's catch up with them and they downsize their productions anyway much like the Blaze era...
Yea I don't know why, but for some reason I thought the guy in the above clip went on to do more for Maiden than just be a fan. I have no idea why I connected the two.
For some reason I feel like I've seen this acknowledged somewhere, although I can't remember where. And it looks like the same guy, I was wondering if anyone else knew what I was talking about.
Answer me this, the guy (teenager) with the long curly hair talking in the B&W footage outside and early gig saying how Maiden is a life style and he's be rich if he had a dime for ever Maiden show he's been to. Is that the same guy that designs their stages later on? at least as of the Death...
Parsons had to have been on that Friday Night Rock Show recording because as far as I know the bands used to go in, set up, and play live in the studio. So it's not like Dave Murray could have added over dubs after, and it's not likely.
Everyone seems to think there's a second guitar player on that recording, and no one is making any argument of it being anyone other than Paul Cairns that I can see.
