Bruce Dickinson

I'd go with Omega. This song is a monster.
''Omega'' is one of his best solo songs.

Actually, the whole album Accident Of Birth is special...

Freak - song that carries the feel of his past albums (Skunkworks, BTP).
Toltec 7 Arrival - just an intro, but it's not the album opener. Good decision.
Starchildren - typical sounding song for Bruce's solo career.
Taking the Queen - song (with acoustic intro) that could have been in a Maiden album from the 80's.
Darkside of Aquarius - the great epic of the album. Maiden vibes.
Road to Hell - could have been a classic hit song of Maiden in the 90's.
Man of Sorrows - classic mid-tempo/semi-ballad song.
Accident of Birth - pure heavy metal! Another classic!
The Magician - potential hit single. Great short rocker.
Welcome to the Pit - song that reminds Adrian's stuff with Psycho Motel.
Omega - amazing unique song.
Arc of Space - beautiful acoustic ballad.

I was kind of sorry for Maiden when AOB was released, haha. RTH came to my mind when I saw the duration of DOTFP. I think it was about time we got a great rocker for Maiden too.

Agree. I think his solo in ''The Magician'' is one of his best too.

Great short rocker of Smith/Dickinson for Maiden? -> DOG and SOL.

yep, the Magician is also great. As for DOG and SOL , they are good but not great if you ask me. They needed a bit more finetuning before they recorded them (IMO of course). I kind of prefer SOL to DOG.

I always liked 1000 points of light and The Breeding House. Strange, I know.

The Breeding House could very well be a Maiden song from that era. If Bruce had stayed in the band, something like that might have been a single for their next album. Anyway, I've always liked it too. It's nothing super spectacular, but quite an ok, standard rocker or whatever. That is probably the very reason why it (and most of the "first version" of the album) was eventually scrapped though, as it was quite close to the Maiden world and not really that different.

17?! Where did that information come from?
Info is from Roy Z - check this

''The Breeding House'' is one of his best solos songs imo. But yeah, he wanted this album to be different from the sound of Maiden (like his debut album and even more so, his 1996 project) - sadly, probably that's why it was not added to the album.

I never heard The breeding house before. I think this is miles better than anything Maiden did since FOTD. But this was not written just by Bruce himself, right?

I'd rather move around and be that figure out life
And what it means
Fire up some beast and ride the sky waves...

63. Go slowly now, sands of time. I'm sure he still has verses to pour.
