So today, I've decided to piece together a concept for a film script that has been on my mind for a while. I have yet to flesh out more than the barebones at this moment, but my main influences for the script is The Night Of The Stormrider. I feel really passionate about this idea working out and its themes are a wonderful commentary of both yesterday and today's problems.

It feels good to have this stuff on paper at last.
 
Watching football with Arab commentary is Montenegro-like torture. Guy speaks 1500 words a minute. It's unbearable.
 
I don't know whether any of you have caught the news story about the Volkswagen diesel fuck-up?

Wonder if all those who have bought a car with the engine in question will get some of their money back. And whether the other automakers will be found out ... I'm sure VW are not alone in this, seeing as the test numbers for fuel consumption and various emissions are generally not achievable in normal driving in any car.
 
I've been paying particularly close attention, partially because once the stock price bottoms out, I'll likely sink some money into VW. Partially because it is truly fascinating.

Currently, not one modern diesel in North America from VW meets emission standards. Who the hell knows what is going to happen. Possibly billions in fines.
