Unrelated specifically to Eddfest - but I noticed while watching a YouTube video of one of the recent shows, shot from higher up in the side-stands.
There is no floor design on the stage - is this a first in a long time for Maiden? I feel like up until TFP they always had a design on the stage floor.

it would be cool, to see the band jamming with others. That doesn't happen since 1990 I think. They allowed Anthrax and Wolfsbane to play Sanctuary with them if I remember correctly

We've had this discussion before: the headliner isn't necessarily the last on stage. The band that goes on after Blaze (Hair Metal Glamageddon) appears to be a cliched AF covers band and their set doesn't start until 22:20, by which time everyone will be cream crackered and ready to call it a day ...

To be fair, I’ve just seen a couple of days ago a drummer for a band explaining how he had custom clear pvc drum ‘mats’ because their whole stage is LEDs.
So it can be done.

It was a cool show. Anthrax was good too (although Joe thought he was at Argentina ). As for Aces High, I kinda dig Bruce's new approach on the chorus. Also got the chance of witnessing the whole media show and despite the age the guys looked tight enough.
