RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

In its context it sounds to me like a sarcastic complaint about them playing it too fast ::)

I don't think he's actually pissed off with anyone.
Aw totally, that's what I mean. He's being sarcastic ie they are already playing too fast. I'm sure they've had discussions on it and from what I've read here it has been faster recently so I reckon they've sped up a touch from their previously agreed levels and our Bruce Burce is raaaaaaging

I don't even think he was raging, to be honest (that was pretty laid back for a Bruce rage). I think he was just trying to be funny :)

Yep, completely agree! I didn't listen to the whole section first, but I did now and he absolutely was being sarcastic since he struggled to keep up. And I've gotten the impression they have been playing it faster recently.

Heatwave coming for Knebworth so plenty of Trooper will need sinking i imagine, plus a few cheaper beers from home in the tent. 8pm start for Maiden with a 10.30 curfew so a lot of the show will be in daylight .To counteract this i am bringing my rose tinted spectacles so all will be fine :D

Enjoy the gig and do not get sunburnt!

The abominable Wasted Years fills:

But many Rock Imperium attendees say that Maiden played better than ever. Nobody cares as long as they play the hits!

Haven't seen Maiden shows this year, but judging by the videos, I think they actually are playing very well indeed and even the encore part of the set doesn't sound quite as "tired" as it has occasionally been on the past few tours, last summer included.

That being said, I acknowledge that Simon's approach to some of the fills and drum arrangements in general is a bit "stiff" and I totally get that a lot of people feel that there's a lot missing from their sound without Nicko.

Personally, I think Simon has done pretty good job at driving the band and kept the performance together just fine, but of course there's little mishaps here and there, it's live music after all.

Of course the above is purely how I feel about it. I'm not belittling the opinions of those who are more "drum-oriented."

It's better than «Trooper», I'll give you that.
