Time to meet your maker
Saw the documentary Friday night here in India. A few things:The movie finally came out in Germany, just got back from the premiere. I have quite a few gripes as far as editing and filmmaking in general go, but overall it was a good time. I had fun, and that's the most important thing.
Though, I can't let go of that one: When they were talking about having now three guitars at their disposal, they showed footage of RiR's Brave New World. The part right after the solos with the triple harmony. Yet the sound was the solos right before that part. What the hell was up with that? I get that solos are flashier, but that's the one part where they could've kept sound and video synced lol
1. How in the fucking world do you completely ignore them Somewhere in Time & Sevent Son era?! Like how dare you!! Those albums (esp Seventh Son) really highlighted Maidens work in the 80s.
2. They should have added more meat on Adrian leaving the band in 1990.
3. Talk about how Arry had the chance to play for West Ham or pursue a life in music.
4. Call out some of the earlier members (Paul Day, Doug Sampson, Dennis Wilcock, etc)
All in all, it was a pretty decent documentary but they could have made it slightly longer & add some of this information.
Loved experiencing their music in the theater though.

So I wasn't exactly objective, plus it was an absolutely huge screen, I was seated right at the front, and Bruce/Rod/H/Nicko were dotted around the auditorium
