It has grown on me, warts and all. It still has the sense of not being finished, but still an enjoyable record with a couple of bangers.
Actually it grew on me alot after a few spins!
It's not a masterpiece but an enyoable album for me. :)
Edit: @Yax almost wrote the same!

Lucky you, chaps!

@Fozzie4 I look a bit like Geddy Lee, but without his bank account balance. :P

I'm torn between making a "St. Anger trashcan-snare" joke and a "Bruce will replace all drums with percussion played by him" joke. Let's pretend I went with the funnier option :D
St anger LOL i listened to it twice and felt sick . What a weird album sound ans structures. Its one of the album that i felt good when i stopped to listen it.

Interviewers were instructed not to ask Bruce about Roy. I think this applied to all interviews.
Or can anyone find an interview where the interviewer did ask about it (after the partnership ended)?
Normally, an interviewer would consider that a topic worth covering.
I believe there were private/personal issues involved, not just disagreements about tours or recordings.

Bruce is not going to answer

Sometimes topics that are not to be discussed are determined before the interview.
This ensures that nothing unpleasant happens during the interview itself, such as a refusal to answer or, in the worst case, the interview being cut short.

Exactly. I doubt Bruce would like to go into a press war with Roy at this point. There were topics in the past that were banned from being discussed in the past.

It's clear that the bridges are completely burnt. But Bruce is keeping that behind closed doors, while Roy vents out on social media from time to time (and soon deletes it). Also, going by this last lashout, I think there might be some kind of lawsuit going on between Roy and Bruce's camp behind the scenes.

Also, the reissues of the albums could be very problematic royalties-wise, especially with albums containing re-recorded parts. I think there could be something behind this.
Why would it be problematic royalties-wise? You play on the recording, you get a performance royalty. You write the songs, you get songwriting royalties. You own the recordings, you can remix them, release them, alter them, whatever - you don't own the recordings just because you performed on them, co-produced them or whatnot. You own them if you paid for them.

Well... That's the grey area. We don't know what the arrangement between Roy and Bruce was back then. Roy is also co-author of most of the songs. We also don't know what is going on. Maybe Roy is dissappointed again that he didn't get to record additional parts. Or maybe Bruce's camp arranged that Roy gets nothing from the reissues/remasters. We don't know.

But, when the reissues/remasters came out Roy just seemed dissappointed. Now he seems outright angry. Something is going on, but we probably won't know what anytime soon. Especially if there is a lawsuit.

If there is a lawsuit, there will be a discovery like with QR. I sincerely doubt there'd be anything for Roy Z down that route, because Bruce would have had to make a terrible and unusual deal with the record company for Z to have any stakes in the ownership of the recordings now. They didn't renove any of his parts either, just added stuff.
