Athens is too much of a big stadium, they would never sell out the place, but they're already in a better position than the final turnout for 2022. It would make very little sense to invest on such a big support knowing you can't fill the place up anyway.

Not saying it will happen, but given that some shows (Milan, Sofia, Lisbon, Bucharest) need a big boost and the availability of the band, it's a possibility, although small.

Probably because they're British bands. I imagine if they asked other governments those would react with something along the lines of:

A "cap" is just touting by another name if it's above the face value of the tickets. The secondary market should be abolished, punters shouldn't need to sell tickets, if they can't make a gig they should be entitled to a full refund from source, who should then be able to sell the ticket again at no more than face value.

As a band that plays in the US, they could appeal to the US government—why not? If it would have any effect is uncertain in both the UK and the US.
They don't have "power" in the UK either.
 
It is challenging putting in South America, Asia, Australia all into the final leg after already touring from May till October. Do we think Maiden are actually going to visit all these territories in October / November?

Maybe without Nicko they feel they can be more ambitious?

Maybe the mid July - late August break is enough to recharge for the second part?

The rest of Latin American tour dates will probably be in October, going south after the one in Mexico. No idea about them touring elsewhere though.

They have a month and a half to recharge their batteries and, let's face it, they are not playing that many dates!

I am still tying to understand what Maiden gains by not confirming everything. If there are no Asia/Australia dates, maybe that would be the final reason some fans would want to plan a trip to Europe for example? That could be a Christmas present.
But you would need to know for sure, as early as possible.

Nope NA dates are already finalised no more dates added, as mentioned in their official website. Now only SA, Oceania n asia is left if there is any.

I think the “insider” claims in the fan forum are what was meant above.
I hope this is the right strategy. Sometimes, despite long breaks, it can feel like you've been on tour all year, and that can make you think you don't want to do it anymore.
On the other hand, Bruce seems to be constantly on the road anyway, with Maiden tours, solo tours, and now apparently a long vacation trip.
