As someone just south of London, why do I have the distinct feeling that the UK show is gonna wind up being more awkward for me to get to than just hopping up and on the Eurostar?

What happened? I did Sonisphere UK in 2010 and in 2014 and everything went swimmingly.

Basically a 45 minute walk to the train station, where there weren't any trains running, so we had to get a cab back to Luton

So, potential 2nd nights IMO are:

Athens, on May 24th.
Paris, on either June 21st or 23rd.

Paris is almost a given. They will have 2 shows there, so they can use songs from either night.

Everton want to use their new stadium for Concerts, they are currently applying for a license i believe, massive new concourse too perfect for a Maiden themed dive bar zone.

Potential 1st night locations are:

Split, Zagreb, Belgrade or Sarajevo. Others don't make sense logisticaly, especially Pula.

The problem with a second night in Paris is that they can't fit it in because of Copenhell and Tons of Rock. Unless they add it before the first night, but that doesn't make any sense.

There won't be a 2nd night in Athens. OAKA is huge huge...similar to West Ham's stadium I think. Even one gig there might not be sold out.

That UK headline gig sounds intriguing. On the one hand, I am not particularly excited about seeing the same show again, but on the other it is quite tempting to see the band again as it could well be their last gig on home turf.

I guess I will make up my mind once they announce the details (location, price, bands accompanying The Raven Age, etc.).

Everything points towards Maiden headlining both Resurrection Fest (they had a teaser on Facebook yesterday of two metalheads running for their lives! ) and Rock Imperium.

OK they will film Paris for the DVD or whatsover. But what happened with that rumor of TFP DVD? Wasn’t something filmed back then?

They can add another Paris concert without problem, 21.or 23.june.
