Tour merch, event shirts

Interesting indeed, 15 year anniversary merch to celebrate the release of Final Frontier. I´m not complaining, but what are the odds they celebrate 35 years of No Prayer For The Dying in October... probably similar to... hmm... someone being unassailable prey to Eddie.

Talking about older tours, my favourite is from 2007 when they performed in India for the first time. The T-shirt had Eddie playing the game of Cricket, a very popular sport here in India (a very smart move indeed).

new shirts on shop today. the white one is extra interesting, it has that old poster design that shows dennis wilcock's favorite tongue and blood trick. but i think i'm gonna go with black infinite dreams. at last a new approach with small logo on the left and eddie is below to the right.

Also there is hoodie, some patches, bookmarks and more. I'm between "shut up and take my money" and "they're all money trap!"

Thought about getting the black one, the band logo on the left is nice, but the "Infinite Dreams" writing below ruins it all for me.

Infinite dreams, you can't deny them.
Joke aside, the Infinite Dreams concept and this cult song deserves a better, more lyrically coherent image. Motorcycle Eddie and now this black and white Eddie have nothing to do with the song’s atmosphere or message. But I know it's all for the cool book title, not the song. :(

It was a live single, but I agree, Infinite Dreams deserves its own mystical art with Eddie. The book was a perfect opportunity, tour too.

well, there are again some new shirts on the offical shop. they anounced the halloween shirt, eddie destroying a pumpkin eddie (reminds me helloween's pumpkin too) with typical akira design style. i don't remember that they did a halloween shirt before, found it little weird.

also there are 5 shirts and some bits added to the 50th year anniversary collection. new shirts are all from the powerslave and somewhere eras, they didn't anounce yet. green one is interesting. powerslave hoodie is another interesting one, yet i didn't like the back, it's too much. the armless tee with powerslave logo has the saying "now that's what i call music", probably a nod to stranger things. yet it was piece of mind shown on that show as i remember...

The text on the webshop explains it

Released on September 3rd, 1984 Iron Maiden’s Powerslave was a truly epic statement of intent, and it smashed charts around the world, too. In fact, as the legend goes, the only thing that kept it out of the top spot in the UK was the third edition of the perennial Now That’s What I Call Music series. A funny story that deserves a tee to match.

They also released one for TBOS's anniv (2017 tour poster). I wish these celebrations are with new arts. The back art isn't new, right?

Have you already seen the Halloween tee?

A Halloween special, a surprise? It's very nice and very tour-esque (with references to FOTD from the current tour). Nice use of colors. Typical Akirant style, he deserves to make the next album cover.
