RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Damn they played with intent and ferociousness tonight.

Aces Mid-Height is still a bit shite, but Powerslave is on fire. Except of Bruce's timing issues on the platform, but nothing new there. Also H backing vocals are back.

Phantom also brought a smile on my face.

"IMPORTANT: Iron Maiden management wants me voluntarily remove this video in 7 days or my channel gets copyright strike. I'll remove the video on Monday 23rd. Until then, enjoy!"
If they've established direct contact then that's ample opportunity to send back imagery of cocks and bollocks, true to the spirit of Iron Maiden tradition! I'm sure they'd appreciate the referential humor at the offices.

In general, everything sounds better at venues like this arena or the O2. You can't have that sound in stadiums and festivals, unfortunately
100% agree. The band sounds better in arena than stadiums. You cant have? I watched maiden and avantasia in 2013 in the same concert and the sound during avantasia show was perfect

Birmingham performances were pretty good and tight (edit: Hallowed was rough, but just 2 songs is wow). The band's energy was really high and they really enjoy playing live. Even Aces was nice, without the last part of the chorus and ''fly to live''. The scream is still there. Bruce did a good job overall, even sick he's fine!.

I dont know whether we discussed this here before but I love where Bruce disappears from the stage (in the cage) in Hallowed. And wonder how do they do it. At first I thought that there is an elevator or sth like a lid, and he falls just before the "explosion", but I watched some videos and that's so quick. For example:

Actually this looks more professional than the things Simon Drake did in Bruce's farewell concert :)

Infinite Dreams-esque event shirt... that's next level trolling. :p Cool art.
Same, I somehow forgot just how powerful the Spitefire is, especially now when I've witnessed the giant screen and video. There's just no comparison.
Videos can never replace art!
There's going to be a London shirt in addition to the UK shirt?

Maybe it will be a special shirt?
It helped that you could really tell the band, and Bruce in particular, have a lot of fun with that song.
Which is curious, because the song is difficult for everyone.
Also Bruce made a joke about people commenting on Simon's kit size online! He's watching you!
Then he should read the comments about Aces too...

I have a feeling Bruce is like keeping track of which songs are popular on the socials.
Something interesting?

The Hallowed trick is curious.
Blaze was there.
It's great to see Blaze attending a Maiden show again. :)

I dont know but i doubt the solution is bruce falling with his "both new hips" and just recovered

Day after the Birmingham show. My first Maiden show in that city since I saw BNW and DOD at the NEC venue in 00 and 03.

If this is the best the band can be in 2025, I’ll take it.

Not the best Maiden show or tour I’ve seen (quite a few travelling Maiden fans echoed this sentiment). Still some teenagers in the crowd, so the ‘greatest 80s mix tape’ setlist approach will work with younger fans and first timers for sure.

The band played with intent and power, and I loved hearing Killers in particular. I didn’t think crowd was especially animated in the standing sections (I was on Dave’s side). So I see perfectly why the Pavlovian reaction provoked by Fear of the Dark has value.

I stepped back at the encore, the new version of the Churchill speech is annoying with his dramatic pauses cut.

Verdict: Maiden for the Masses
