RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

For those who can get to the shows, Blaze is performing The X Factor in its entirety at ten (I think) gigs later this year.

I don't know if that means we'll get the full Sign of the Cross, or the cut down version he and Absolva are fond of performing.

Blood on the World's Hands and The Unbeliever should be highlights!
And edge of darkness. I would love to see the whole album played live. Is it true? The whole album? Btw i went to the last tour and didnt realized that sign of thr cross was cut. Absolva is a good band but they played twice. at the end of the show they were dead

When I saw them a few years ago, they only played up until the first time change, and ended the song there. Bit odd. But yes, being their own support act isn't helping anything.

-I don't think there will be a part 2 of this tour and even if there is, it will still be based on the 80s albums and maybe they'll change 2-3 songs. That's all.
-We don't know if they'll release a new album in 26 or 27. If they don't, I can see a Reunion tour happening. They might even call it from X-Factor to Senjutsu and just include a song or two from the Blaze era. IMO a Reunion tour with some classics is the likeliest scenario, like 12 reunion songs, Fear, Trooper, IM and another 80s track.
If there is a new album, there will be no Reunion tour. It will be a new album tour and then the rest of the set can be very unpredictable.
- Tbf the next tour will be unpredictable, anyway. They played it as safe as they could with this tour. After the Future Past tour, we know that they can skip most of the hits for a tour and now they're playing all of the hits. So, the next tour might be something entirely different.

My guess if there's a new album there will probably be a hybrid tour again with emphasis on new album and reunion stuff and the obvious classic staples. Maybe one Blaze era song but I´m afraid not.

Dave? Surely not.

Steve could've been visiting his friend Slaven Bilić.
A friend of mine who is a moderate maiden fan met Dave in a mall in Split and took a picture with him and chatted for few minutes.Dave told him they love the place and he and Steve and...or guys were there during the winter and no one knew.

Last year or this january they played it like the album. Absolved (cant remember the name) sounded good.not on sign of the cross but i liked it during clansman or 2 worlds collide

Then my money is on preliminary rehearsal with Simon or a business meeting (possibly about re-structuring Iron Maiden Touring LLP, with Nicko's retirement) and whole board needed to be present (6 members plus the director of Iron Maiden LLP).

Why have a business meeting there instead of in London?
In the middle of the winter? Well, there is about 65% less chance of rain and at least 5-10 degrees warmer.

Also, basically noone from the band spends winters in UK (noone except Janick, H was forced to this year, since the LA fires took his other house down). Imagine the shock by Dave flying in from sunny Hawaii to UK during winter. Even he would stop smiling.

A week or so prior to the gig you will receive a mail with all information about the concerts. If there is a merch booth outside the venue it will be shown on map, with directions and working hours. I think coming half an hour earlier from opening time is enough.
Also, I've seen there's Eddie Dive bar in Paris for three days and so far they sold merch at those, so that may be a safer bet.
Thanks for the information man, but where will I get this email. And what kind of email will it be like a information one or other.

Thinking about it, if H brought out the Les Paul Goldtop ad the 1986 Jackson Superstrat, he would play almost all of the guitars from the 80's on tour. He could've also gone period correct with the guitars (with the exception of drop D songs)...

1. Murders In A Rue Morgue - Les Paul Goldtop
2. Wrathchild - Les Paul Goldtop
3. Killers - Les Paul Goldtop
4. Phantom Of The Opera - Les Paul Goldtop
5. The Number Of The Beast - Ibanez Destroyer in drop D
6. The Clairvoyant - 8431 Jackson Signature prototype
7. Powerslave - Lado Earth Silverburst
8. 2 Minutes To Midnight - 2MTM Jackson
9. Rime Of The Acient Mariner - Lado Earth Silverburst
10. Run To The Hills - 8431 Jackson Signature prototype in drop D or Ibanez Destroyer in drop D
11. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - 1986 Jackson Superstrat
12. The Trooper - Les Paul Goldtop or Lado Earth Silverburst or 1986 Jackson Superstrat
13. Hallowed Be Thy Name - Les Paul Goldtop or Lado Earth Silverburst or 1986 Jackson Superstrat
14. Iron Maiden - Ibanez Destroyer in drop D
15. Aces Mid-Height - Lado Earth Silverburst
16. Fear Of The Dark - 8431 Jackson Signature prototype in drop D or Les Paul Goldtop in drop D
17. Wasted Years - 1986 Jackson Superstrat

So, we are 2 guitars away from H going full on 80's guitars showcase on this tour. And both of those are in working condition (they both appeared on En Vivo). I have a feeling that the Goldtop might come out during UK shows...

So there are two drop D guitars in this tour? The destroyer and the 8431 Jackson?

Steve and Dave and maybe more were in Split this winter. Apparently no one knew.Writing maybe?
They won't write or record in parts. Right. Most likely something else. Btw, Bruce recorded the vocals for his solo album there in 2022 (iirc).
If they have plans for a new album, and they should already have some plans for the next tour, a suitable window (despite Adrian's solo plans) is early next year, although Bruce said he will record his new solo album then, but also said the first 4 months are free for him. It's the logical next step. I'm confident now that this tour will only be 2 years.
