Yeah it was mastered in 2015, I think the 2015 CD masterings are the same as the ones that were done for apple music the previous year, I think by Tony Newton. The LP masterings are done by a different guy I think

I remember from Kevin’s diaries there was a Mastering took place in New York by George Marino that Steve chose not to use. Wasn’t this version used in 2015?

This is my biggest issue with the appointment. They could have found a drummer who could have extended their careers with 10 years. Instead it feels like a 3-5 year solution.
Would we really want them to be on stage when they are closer to 80 than 70?

Agreed! But also the bite and crunch on the rythm is something else - the intro riff to Montsegur sounds blistering and the heavy section of the Paschendale intro is like being bombarded in the best of ways. But anyhow, I digress :)

they can always get another drummer then if need be
 
I'd like to see them go on for as long as they are all capable and healthy. But I would at least like to see after RFYL a new album tour and then a "farewell" tour, if that's the case.
 
Sure, this guy, a "real expert", who doesn't even look young for his age, just like a normal guy of his age who works out a lot.

However, competent medical advice really makes a big difference, that's just the way it is.
