Nah, the tempo issues were due to Nicko. If they were to play the song with Simon it's going to be faster once more.
The reason why many of us don't want them to revisit that song is because it has had plenty of chances and prominent placements in setlists since the reunion, as well as the performances in its last appearance having been less than stellar, to say the least.

Don't remember who said it here on the forum, but there was an anecdote of a member leaving prior to Aces High as the encore, so that the memory of it won't be tarnished.

You never know, but AH was played so many times as a show opener in the past; last time in 2018/19. I don't know if using this one as an opener would be a good idea. BQoBD should be a better choice.

Maybe not a selling point for some here. Anyway, I wasn't debating that they should play it. My point is I think they can now do it better, if they so choose. BQOBD would be cool to hear as the opener, but I wonder if they feel it's a bit obscure for the masses.
 
:scared: Huh, I just figured out the opening song puzzle! The show is definitely going to open with Be Quick or Be Dead! Why? Because BQOBD also stands for Be Quiet or Bruce Dickinson! And that speaks VOLUMES! (the song opens with banshee-like Bruce's scream)

no way they'll play revelations, bruce will play that one in his solo tour.
and i believe that even the band didn't finalize the setlist by now. they are rehearsing nowadays and testing the candidates, the flow of the setlist etc. we know that they rehearsed some songs before, that didn't take place at the final setlist. so it's BS %100.

I am not sure if it was about the song. New Trooper beer is Revelations too. As I remember - but I may be wrong - he said something like they will play Shadow of the Gods and there will be Revelations
