There are too many good ones to only have ten, some can change with mood.

1) Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
2) Hallowed Be Thy Name
3) Flash Of The Blade
4) The Clansman
5) Where Eagles Dare
6) The Prisoner
7) Brighter Than A Thousand Suns
8) Phantom Of The Opera
9) Ghost Of The Navigator
10) 3-way tie: Total Eclipse/Run Silent Run Deep/Afraid To Shoot Strangers

At least that is the mood today, this week, etc...

1. Where Eagles Dare (tremendous intro and an instant showcase for Nicko, the atmosphere captured in the middle section still amazes me)
2. Hallowed Be Thy Name (the narrative is truly compelling and they blew away everything from the NWOBHM in only 7 minutes)
3. Caught Somewhere In Time (I've never loved an intro and opening verse more in my life than this song)
4. To Tame A Land (the middle eastern themed riff that drives this is awesome and Bruce does a great job with some difficult lyrics)
5. Revelations (this was a classic rock track from birth, great melody and tempo changes and Bruce sounds amazing)
6. Paschendale (a modern Maiden classic and a very respectful telling of the story, the contrast between pure heaviness and intricate melodies is great)
7. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner (a really pompous idea that worked perfectly, the riff and build up back from the middle section is among their best work)
8. Moonchild (synths put to even better use than on SIT and one of their best intros, Bruce shows off his range wonderfully all through this)
9. The Trooper (the best metal song ever put on a 7" vinyl and again great narrative but the duelling guitars steal the show)
10. Starblind (one of the newer songs that sounds like vintage Maiden, I love how it all kicks off about 4 minutes in, really should be played live)

Very hard to leave out Children Of The Damned, The Evil That Men Do, The Longest Day, Powerslave, Infinite Dreams, Isle Of Avalon, Alexander The Great + more.

Maybe each song heared more than 666 times so the list is proffesional!

1. Hallowed Be Thy Name (totally magnificent)
2. Phantom Of The Opera (excellent intro and special change of rhythms)
3. The Number Of The Beast (most maidenwise song! immortal)
4. Killers (excellent fast riffs and solos)
5. Paschendale (great drums, guitars and vocals. really a complete song)
6. Alexander The Great (great lyrics and best solos)
7. The Trooper (incredibly fast and stunning)
8. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner (excellent vocals)
9. The Prisioner (unrivaled rhythm and cool guitars)
10. The Thin Line Between Love And Hate (great solos and nice vocals)

Some other eligible songs are Run To The Hills, Wrathchild, Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, Blood Brothers, Afraid To Shoot Strangers and ...
