I know there are threads KINDA like this already from the past, but I'd like to know what are all of your Top 10 Iron Maiden songs of all time?

As for me...

Whenever I have to create top 10 song lists for bands, it's usually easy. Maiden is the most difficult band ever, though, because songs are always growing on me. This is a very tentative list.

1. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
2. The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
3. Paschendale
4. Infinite Dreams
5. Starblind
6. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
7. Sign of the Cross
8. To Tame a Land
9. Phantom of the Opera
10. The Clairvoyant
 
I very much struggle to order the songs, the best way I have found is to order the tracks by album, then compare #1 track from each album, bump my favourite off into list, compare the remaining #1's and the #2 from that album.. etc. Although it's still kinda off because whilst I like song X more than song Y .. .song Y may find itself in more playlists, but, it's the best I can get.

The order is difficult to establish and the list is constantly being tweaked depending on my mood but for right now this is it:

You're right, I myself am surprised to see nobody includes it to their top 10. To me it's one of the best live act ever. It also has a very special thing to me, it reminds me some years ago when I worked as a Ranger. It was a perfect fit when spending the whole night in the forest trying to spot Hunters in the middle of nowhere. Just curious, what do you guys have Agaisn't FOTD?
 
It's been played to death, & I'm sick of listening to it. :D
Also (in my opinion), on musical merit, it shouldn't really be anywhere near the top 10, baring in mind everything Maiden have written over the years.
 
Fear of the Dark live certainly has a certain je ne sais quoi about it, its super atmospheric and really a great song for live audiences. But it is a little bit simplistic and right now I'm feeling the more progressive stuff (on another day Fear of the Dark might make it up there). So for right now its somewhere in the 10-20 range, along with things like Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger, which have the atmosphere but lack the complexity to make it really compelling and therefore worthy of a higher ranking.
