Says the guy who thinks Blaze vomited over the master tapes.
Having someone vomit directly into my ears might actually be more pleasant than listening to Blaze's performance on "Judgement Of Heaven".Says the guy who thinks Blaze vomited over the master tapes.
One of the most beautifully emotional and honest songs in the Maiden discography sung by someone who sounds like he knows exactly what he’s singing about and has been through it as well?Having someone vomit directly into my ears might actually be more pleasant than listening to Blaze's performance on "Judgement Of Heaven".
No, I'm talking about "Judgement Of Heaven" from The X Factor. One of the most beautifully emotional and honest songs in the Maiden discography sung by someone who sounds like he knows exactly what he’s singing about and has been through it as well?
And I don't know what to tell you, either -- Blaze is horribly out of key throughout the entire song, and his "yeahs" sound like a cat being strangled. Far and away his worst vocal performance with Maiden, IMO. If you can find a way to like that, more power to you I guess.Well I dunno what to tell you. That song speaks to me on a personal level and is one of the reasons Blaze is one of my favorite vocalists ever.

You keep saying this, but I don't really think it's true. I think that Blaze simply sings differently, like @MrKnickerbocker once explained. I can certainly accept that the voice isn't for you.Blaze is horribly out of key throughout the entire song
Then short of getting an isolated vocal track and objectively measuring it, I don't know what would change your mind. It's blindingly obvious that he's off the note all over the place ("a lonely cry for help", "for help to anyone", "to help you on your way", "when I was happy", "to get on with your life", etc., etc.). If by "singing differently" you mean "warbling around different frequencies without caring which one you actually hit", then sure, I guess. But by that standard, literally everyone is a superb singer who just "sings differently".You keep saying this, but I don't really think it's true. I think that Blaze simply sings differently
