Quest for fire is damn great. The lyrics are cool.. Maybe not historically accurate, but so what. It’s catchy and heavy- the solo is unique and the chorus is brilliant.
Agree also on gates of tomorrow . Stellar. Love Bruce here. That pitch, ? Fits the song perfectly. Snide and conceited! So damn cool.

It is a consensus here at this forum specifically, based on votes counted through the individual song thread (https://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/the-apparition.4286/). That being said, this is the only place where I have seen it hated this much.

I think the song rocks. It's not an all-time classic, but it's good. Don't get the hate. Oh, well.
