World Cup of Maidenfans: qualifying round, Group six:
Accept, Amorphis, The Beatles, Chickenfoot, Deep Purple, Dokken, King Diamond, Savatage, Joe Satriani
Vote for your picks for the FOUR best bands. Top two vote-getters move on to the round-robin. Third and fourth have a chance for a wild card entry.
The rest are eliminated.
 
Beatles, Purple, King Diamond ... and Dokken of course.

Satch was tempting, hard to dislike anything he does.
Amorphis and Savatage were tempting, I like most of what I've heard from both.
King Diamond gets the nod because I recently rediscovered his stuff, and I'm liking it more than in the past. Also, that voice. Holy hell.
