[!--QuoteBegin--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--]Just because the Republicans were the guilty party this time doesn't excuse the Democrats, because they would have done the same if they'd had the chance. [/quote]

Yes, but we all know the republicans are stupid and mean... whatever they do, they do it to fuck us all up. The Democrats, on the other hand, can be stupid sometimes too, but they, at least, try to be nicer... [!--emo&^_^--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/happy.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'happy.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Membership in a particular political party doesn't change that.

The Democrats, it is true, are more progressive than the Republicans and thus more likely to do nice things for people who aren't rich. Nonetheless, I wouldn't trust a Republican as far as I could throw one... and I wouldn't trust a Democrat as far as I could throw a Republican. (Being a Democrat myself, I wouldn't throw one of us.)

Wasn't Lyndon Johnson a democrat? as I remember his "Great Society" plan wasn't so great. Granted he was sworn into office after Kennedy's assasination (which I believed was planed by Johnson but eh). In other words, I agree with SMX, presidents from both parties have done not so nice things.

[!--QuoteBegin--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--]In other words, I agree with SMX, presidents from both parties have done not so nice things.[/quote]

That's true, (pero los pinches republicanos estan enfermos mentales, hijos de puta y los democratas, esos solo son unos pinches gringos...). In fact, it seems interesting how the two parties with possibilities to actually win an election in the US, are quite near from each other, idiologically (does that word exists in english???). Both parties are Right wing, yes, the democrats being more progressive and the republicans more primitive and ape-like. But it's almost the same thing. It makes me wonder, when it comes to "democracy", that the country that kills people in the name of democracy has no real options when it comes to elections... weird shit...

Killer, while I mostly agree with what you said, I think you said it in the most offensive possible manner. Firstly, the fact that part of your post is in Spanish is very rude for the non-Spanish speakers among us. Second, believe it or not, but the word "gringo" is a well-known expression and I regard it as no better than the double-g word, for instance.
Third, the Republican party is, in my opinion, a criminal organization, but they are by no means primitive or ape-like. Please remember you are talking about human beings, as criminal as they may be.

That's the reason I wrote "if this chart is right" in my original post. I had no evidence that this was a reflection of the truth.

It's a bit like the rumoured tour dates and venues for the 2005 Maiden tour. People only believe what they want to believe.

You still have to be pretty dumb to vote for Bush, though! [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I'm sure there must be some similarities between that chart and reality, but it seems kind of fishy that it would be so overwhelmingly in favor of Kerry.

That's right. Most of us believed it because, you know, most of us can't stand Bush. If this had been posted on a mostly-Bush-supporting board (which I'm sure has happened), the reactions would've been entirely different.

This is quite true...but WHY?!?! It just seems so..so.. STUPID to vote for someone based on personality traits. Why would it matter if you think Bush is a more likeable guy when his administration--and himself for that matter--has been such a joke and a failure? This irritates me to no end. When will people vote for the candidate who will do a better job in office instead of the guy they's rather have a beer with...\Grumbles\

Yes, Perun, that's true, I think I over reacted with that post. I truly hate the republicans with all my guts, but I must be less ofensive towards them. If there is a republican here, I oppologize. [!--emo&-_---][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sleep.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sleep.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Sorry about the words in spanish, good thing you don't know spanish, though. what I wrote there is quite rude... But I know theres a couple of guys that have posted in here (this especific discusion) that speak in spanish, and It was intended for them to read it... and I know it's not fair for the rest of you guys, I'm very sorry...

About the word gringo, I don't know what the "double-g word" is, but if that means that it is some sort of rude word, I have to point out that it is not like that. It's a regular word to refer to the people from the US in my country and it implies no offense. It was invented in my country when the US invaded it back on 1846-1848 and it was a mixture of two words: green (such was the colour of their army uniform) + go= gringo. Yes, it's true that we don't like gringos very much and so does most of latin américa, but there is no intention of being rude...

And finally, I agree with you, Perun that the republican party is a criminal organization. and it makes me wonder, does the crimanal acts of the irak war (torture, systematic destruction of Faluyah, etc.) and many other (Nam, for example) can be called violations of the human rights? If that's so, those who commit such violations can be still regarded then as humans, or are they closer to the animals???

What many people don' t understand is the word or terminlogy of 'United States'. The word United States is a corporate logo, according to the international maritime admiralty Law the word United States does not apply to the individual states in the confedration, it is a Foreign logo, according to international law it is a foreign corporation in relation to the states. It s a seperate entity, According to IMAL all corporations must have a Presidet, a vice president, and a board of directors just like the congress, legally Bush isn' t the president of the individual states (according to international law). He is a president of a corporation that was set up in the district of columbia set up by the columbian faction of the illuminatis when the country was founded.
The ruling party is a foreign corporation and it is stated so in IMAL! The united states secretary of treasury is not payed by the public, they are payed by the international banksters. So obviously they are not working for the american people. and if foreign companies have so much control over the empire state they choose who is going to be president.
Why Bush?? because his family history shows to have business relations to Adolf Hitler, the Saudis, the bin ladens. who else will they trust to save and continue there enterprise, 'its better to deal with the devil you know' so they say. I would imagine everyone would hav watched farenheit 9/11 , and see how he bet Al Gore, why did Al Gore swallow all of it,, bcoz he knew what all this was about, it was simple, the shareholders didnt want him. All media is owned and controlled by these corporations, its a corporate damned world out there.
Armageddon is near, Don't be suprised when one day you find yourself wondering whether u should vote for a left wing NWO, or the right wingd NWO, with out even having a choice or say in the NWO. (the american dollar doesnt even have a federal reserve bank or value to it, it is a note,)

I would like to add, that it wouldn t hav mattered if Kerry had won, both Bush and Kerry are members of the skull and bone. Pirates.

I m not even going to bother, i am saying IMAL, hasnt every state in USA got their own laws? i don t think you would need more documentations. THe latest thing Bush is doing is an intelligence overhaul, quote "Under this new law, our vast intelligence enterprise will become more unified, coordinated and effective," Mr Bush said at a ceremony that included members of Congress and September 11 victims' families.

"It will enable us to better do our duty, which is to protect the American people."

The new spy director will oversee 15 federal intelligence agencies. The legislation creates a national counter-terrorism centre to plan and help oversee security operations.
He is establishing more powers over the states and people. i personally would have thought that the government would have had control over intelligence but he says its an enterprise, (more proof?).

I agree with Bush's invasion of personal rights and freedoms. But my research can't find a thing on IMAL.

First of all, any belief that each individual US state is a sovereign political entity went out the window during the 1860's.

The United States is, de facto, one country, led by one president (for better or worse). He forms the executive branch of the US government. The Congress, comprising of the Senate (2 per state) and the House of Representatives (assigned by population), forms the legislative branch.

Because of its vast size and inherent regional differences, it would be impossible to have one single division in the US. This is why it is divided into states, each of which has that power to make laws deemed necessary for the people in that specific region. We call this a federated government.

Other examples of such countries with the federal system are Canada, Germany, and Australia. Compare this to a country such as Sweden or France, in which the national government is the sole body of government.

The Secretary of the Treasury, along with the rest of the cabinet, the congressmen, and the president are all paid with funds collected from American ratepayers. These funds are gathered yearly by the Internal Revenue Service, and used to fund the American governmental apparatus. The president, then, works for the people.

As for Bush having ties to Hitler, I think you are sadly misinformed. I seem to remember the older President Bush risking his life fighting against this guy. Hitler was long dead before the Bush's were a prominent family.
As for the Saudis, of course the Bush's have ties to them. The royal family of Saudi Arabia controls that country's oil industry. The Bush's are in the oil industry. The have a lot in common. Of course they're going to know each other. Knowing a Saudi doesn't make you a bad person.

Fahrenheit 9/11 is based on half truths which are disgustingly slanted to Michael Moore's personal agenda. Just like the Republican rebuttal, entitled FahrenHYPE 9/11 takes the same facts and twists them to Bush's point of view. Neither are examples of responsible journalism.

If you haven't noticed, the media is (with a few editorial exceptions) critical of authority, any authority. The media is, for all intents and purposes, doing its job.

The American dollar does have a federal reserve. Surprisingly, it's known as the "US Federal Reserve". Its chairman is a man named Alan Greenspan, who has held the post since 1987.
You speak of 'NWO'. I reply with 'WTF'.

HalleBob, I can tell you're new to these forums, so I will say this: You're free to say whatever you like here. We love free speech. Just be prepared to be called a dumbass if you post stupid crap like this and don't substantiate it. Say whatever you want, just be prepared to back it up.
If your posts continue to be mindless drivel like this, I doubt our moderators will have any qualms in deleting them. They aren't adding to the discussion.
