2. David Gilmour
3. James Dean Bradfield
4. Adrian Smith
5. Chuck Berry (the pioneer!)
I had to leave out of my list a good number of players I quite like (Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi, Francis Rossi, Brian May, Wolf Hoffmann, John Fogerty, Joe Satriani, Mark Knopfler...)
