I had BNW last time but I'd probbaly have AMOLAD first now.

I tend not to revisit the reunion albums a lot these days because of the length. I've always found shorter 80s style albums to be more digestible.

I'm a fan of the reunion though, each album features songs I consider to be genuine bangers, songs I'd gladly hear live any time

Those 2 and then senjutsu

Well, I like TFF best because it's one of the rare cases Maiden really surprised me. They tried something different. The album is experimental, but still pure Maiden. Dark moments, straight forwardness, everything. The attempts of something new starts with the cover already and closes with WTWWB. It's very unique. Plus The Talisman is IMHO the best reunion track.

AMOLAD is cool because of its dark atmosphere too, it's just enjoyable to listen from beginning to end, without needing to skip anything.

Dance Of Death is beautiful too and has great stuff like The Age Of Innocence, the title track and Paschendale...

TBOS is quite on an equal level to me along with DOD, but if I had to decide, and I had to do here, I'd prefer DOD a little over TBOS. But just a little really.

Senjutsu never really conviced me, but fair enough I must admit that Senjutsu crashed into the biggest ever personal transformation process of mine, it was a very, very difficult episode in my life ( = I stopped drinking over decades during the release period and got sucessfully sober and stayed sober until the present day - and will hopefully for the rest of my entire life too :-) , and I could manage it all with a 5 months professional help, so that's why Senjutsu will always be a very strange album for me - on a personal level - I guess.)

and... BNW sounds just boring to me.

The lyrics obviously suck, but the music is awesome imo. It uses the James Bond chord progression and I'm currently drawing a blank on any other Maiden song that uses that.
We agree to disagree here I guess.
Even if this would´ve been an instrumental I wouldn´t like it. Nicko´s ...How Old version is fun though but that's only because of his contribution.

I never liked the music much. Too happy, very similar to how I feel about the music in Gates of Tomorrow. There's some rough stuff in there.

Re Age of Innocence - Forget the words, the intro follows a progression that I find uninteresting and vaguely annoying, the vocal melody and delivery for the intro and the verse is way more than just vaguely annoying. It's all just so shit to my ears. And the words also suck even taking any politics out of them, they are just cringy lines for a metal song.

The only slightly decent thing in this song is the chorus, it kinda soars and the words don't suck but this in no way saves this song. There's 3 bits in the middle, lead breaks, the break downy bit and they all feel shoehorned in. And they're nothin special anyway.

One of the very few Maiden songs I actively dislike.
