No I asked which is the worst palWhich is the worst this , which is the worst that ...whats the matter with you ?? Why not which is the best for gods sake ??????
Even then it's not as excessive as many other instances of repetition in their catalogue. It keeps building the intensity, until all energy is released in the frantic instrumental section. I guess people are only paying attention to the lyrics and ignore the build-up? He starts out with a whisper and keeps escalating with each repetition. Same with the drumming, same with the guitars. It's just that don't look to middle section that goes on forever. I don't mind the rest
I dislike it mostly because as a fan of Blaze I know that its mostly that and Angel which sunk virtual xi from being a decent album with their repetitiveness and weirdness. Harry helped craft two great songs on that album Clansman and Futureal but also sunk it with two of his absolute worst efforts.Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger because it keeps getting brought up in this thread and every mention of it makes me hate it slightly more. It's repetitive to the point of comedy and the Elmo drums double-pace section it builds up to underlines it with how limp and pathetic it is both musically and performance-wise. It's a self-parody. I can't believe it ended up on the record. It's significantly worse than Virus or any of the X Factor B-sides.
Angle and the Gambler may suck almost as much, but at least the phrase that repeats over and over sounds more like Blaze reciting a mantra while he slowly loses it, which in turn provides for a funny mental image.
I think, we already did the best, that's whyWhich is the worst this , which is the worst that ...whats the matter with you ?? Why not which is the best for gods sake ??????
Plus I was complimentary in my opening post saying Harry was a genius songwriter, and can still craft some good songs to this day and how I actually like most of the songs in the poll, and how I would never even put 10/10 brilliant works like Rime, Trooper or Aces in the poll as they are obviously great.I think, we already did the best, that's why
Also, every good songwriter has his bad moments. He can still write exceptional songs like Hell on Earth ,the Parchment, the Red and the Black or For the Greater Good of God.Plus I was complimentary in my opening post saying Harry was a genius songwriter, and can still craft some good songs to this day and how I actually like most of the songs in the poll, and how I would never even put 10/10 brilliant works like Rime, Trooper or Aces in the poll as they are obviously great.
