Mine never had that sticker. Or if it did, it was on the shrink wrap which I long ago removed, because when I bought it I didn’t realize I’d be discussing it 25 years later.

Edit Edit: here’s a pic of my CD format collectors items, including No More Lies EP, Japanese copy of X Factor, Futureal singles, Virus promo, Lord of the Flies single, Wasting Love single, Speed of Light single, Ed Hunter, and the Run to the Hills pts 1 and 2 singles on CD that came out in like ‘02. Also my copy of The Final Frontier Mission Edition. And of course: Best of the Beast

That being said, I managed to buy the Ed Hunter game when I bought Virtual XI in Toulouse in 1998. :) I played it a little bit, but it's far from being funny with time...and I just own it for my Maiden collection. ;)

Yeah I just had a look and they are definitely well-played. I always thought the cardboard packaging was pretty bad for the CDs but then again - I wasn't very kind to my CDs in those years in general. I guess I didn't think of them back then as something I would still be keeping 26 years later ;)

Mine doesn't have the Melt sticker. I probably removed it because it obscured the artwork.

I see yours also has those small rips and tears to the outer cover like mine and also that weird smudge on the back. Mine has that too. Unsure what causes that.

You can find full length gameplay videos of Ed Hunter on YouTube. Compared to some of the stuff that came out in 1999 it looks absolutely atrocious :lol:

^ What were the wallpapers and photos in this bonus content?

The other things were: the video of the title track, interviews with the whole band and some game, iirc.

I have no idea honestly. I don’t remember ever actually putting the disc in my computer and looking at it.

I don't think it was on the disc, IIRC it was something like a code you used to access the content online, that doesn't work anymore
