What do they have in the Video vault?

I’m a big Kiss fan and over the years a lot of cool pro shot videos has leaked out from varius tours. Largo 1977, Japan 1976, Anaheim 1976 and so on. A few of them were leaked around the same time as official video releases were planned, like the Konfidential movie that contained clips from the mentioned concerts.

Do you think the Maiden camp has some kind of video vault with pro shot recordings? Or at least some cool video footage?

Would love to see a World Piece tour pro shot, or maybe a World slavery tour concert from Hammersmith.

Or even cooler stuff would be video documentation from the album recordings…
 
They probably have lots of recordings from screens stored on various hard drives, tapes and reels.

I would love to see more archival footage. I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the Donnington 2007 footage released with what I assume is a Shirley audio mix. We know the whole show is mixed and in the vault somewhere, along with the first leg of the AMOLAD tour.

On another note, it was great to see the Wacken archival footage from the years they have headlined there.
 
I’m afraid they don’t have much…maybe something "poor" quality from Somewhere on tour 86/87, Israel 1995 (where Afraid to shoot strangers were shot), additional takes from Argentina/Chile 2001 that were used for Rock in Rio and Out of the silent planet video, Sweden 2005, and every gig from first leg of the 2008 tour?

Imagine Maiden doing something like Metallica did with the Justice, Black and Load boxes where they released super cool recordings over the the writing sessions of each song, and then of course the pro shot video recordings like Mountain View 89, Stockholm 96 and Nuremburg 92.

Maiden played Landover Largo many times in the 80s. Could those concerts have been recorded? We have two Kiss pro shots from that place, as well as Van Halen and Acdc in 1980/1981.
 
I wonder if they will release lower quality stuff post retirement. At a reduced price, of course. Like say the badly lit Hammersmith 82 or the Donnington 06 flag fest or some of the ones that went out live on tv but as part of some other package like a Donnington Anthology for the flag fest, for example.

I also wonder how they would do it. Physical media or some kinda digital account thingy.

Personally I'd love a few dvd anthologies, 3 discs, some kinda theme (Donnington or just specific eras), a collection of live shows, press from the time, any behind the scenes capers, new history documentaries.

For sure live cds from past eras. Thats my thought. Or a box

Agreed. I wouldn't put past it if they have filmed a gig on official live album purpose from every tour since at least from 2003 (in that case, Gimme Ed Tour).
 
Very likely: all the full concerts of what gave Flight 666.
Less likely: anything they can have traced and bought back from TV channels.
 
Yes, they have most likely a lot of full shows recorded from SBIT snd BOS tour due to the releases from that tour.

I find it weird that there is so little video footage from World Piece Tour and World slavery tour. They were both huuuge tours and still I think the only video footage I’ve seen is from Montreal and Dortmund and from Rio and Long beach arena. There must be more shows recorded than those! Pro shot or audience shots, or recorded by the crew.

From Somewhere on tour we have way more. Paris, Gothenburg, Belgrade, Sheffield (i think) and of course Philly.
