What are the top 5 worst Maiden songs?

I'm sure about one thing where we will all agree is that no matter which song(s) you consider the worst, there isn't a single Maiden song which doesn't kicks ass or atleast reedems itself during its soloing section. I named Look For The Truth, The Apparition and Virus before but even those songs check on the above point.
Yeah it's funny, if I have a Maiden album on in the background and it's playing a weaker song like The Apparition.. the middle solo sections etc are nearly always great and I always remember them.

No, we do not all agree here, I'm afraid..
There are definitely Maiden songs that don't kick ass at all.
Honestly, if the guitar solo is the only good thing in a song, it's not a good song!
It's a good solo, nothing else.

I find it hard to believe that among 120 songs or more, people do consider EVERY song a good one. It's almost impossible.
You ain't no bad fan if you admit to dislike a few songs.... Seems a bit delusional to me.

I do not mean to simply talk about solos but the 'solo section' that is the guitar riffs underneath and the overall tempo of the song and no my friend, not all songs are being called perfect.

I know what you mean, even though I think even if the entire solo section is good, it's still just a good section. The song as such is still not good.
Agree that solo sections in Maiden are ALWAYS good from a technical point of view (performance, prowess).
Musically, they are not always good. Actually, they are quite random at times.

However, I don't think it's unfair to say that Maiden also released some songs that are dreadful.
I do not even consider that a flaw. I mean, show me a band with more than 4 albums that never did a bad song. Such a thing does not exist. So I won't blame them at all. But I can't sugarcoat it either.

OK, a tough one, but here's my no-Blaze era bottom five in no particular order:

Iron Maiden
The Assassin
The Apparition
The Fugitive
Tears of a Clown

I'm really surprised at the hate for Darkest Hour. I get it if you don't like Churchill, that's fine, but I think it's a fucking great song.

I find it to be a little too lovey. Maiden's just not great at ballads. I don't think it's bad, I just don't rate it very highly. Certainly not as bad as the all time bad tracks.

The Angel and The Gambler
The Apparition
The Age of Innocence
The Man Who Would Be King Gangland
The Great Unknown

I didn't think too much. Probably, in other days, some other songs would make it to the list, but these 5 above certainly are in my top 10 of the worst ones, so that's it.

Just edited it to include Gangland! Probably the worst verses of Maiden entirety discography, imo.
