What are the biggest reunions in music that are yet to happen?

I would love to see Rush back on the stage.

I wouldn’t want them to do any new music without Neil but a big concert or small tour honouring the Rush and Neil Peart legacy with a guest drummer.
I honestly hope this never happens. I don’t even want to see them perform a single song without Neil.

If Alex and Geddy write some new music together? Cool. But I think Rush went out on top and they bowed out gracefully, with Neil’s death being the final punctuation mark.

Yep, even to a non-fan this would feel very disrespectful, unless it was like a single occasion guest-drumming cancer fund or a concert to raise money for Peart's ailing family or something.

I would be fine with it, if they didn't call it Rush. But they don't seem keen on doing anything other than rereleases, and I say, kudos to them and a well deserved retirement.

Geddy clearly wants a Rush reunion, I’m guessing Alex shot it down hard which means it’ll never happen thankfully. I was bummed about the stoking of the reunion flames about a year ago when this band had pretty much a perfect run.

Sabbat.
(It did happen once but Martin Skywalkyier just had to post some quite unnecessary stuff and bang it went down the drain.)

Martin can't stand Andy Sneap. He has some serious grudge against him. Andy seems to be holding less anger, but is ultimately sick of being attacked all the time. Understandably.
I know neither of them in person, but Martin seems to have a history of feeling sidelined and being underpaid. Wether it is justified or not, I have no idea, but he complained about being treated unfairly (especially financially) by Sabbat, by Skyclad, by Noise Records and by Massacre Records alike. Both Andy Sneap and Karl Walterbach have said on record that Martin lacks the business insight and does not understand that payment depends on your sales and not on your invested work hours or your creative vision.
No idea if it is true. I guess Martin would tell you something different. But it is a recurring thing, so I guess there is at least SOMETHING to it.
I guess it would not be the same. They are so far removed from the original spirit.
Rotting Christ and Jim Mutilator
I wonder if that would help them writing decent music again. Have been releasing only turds in the past 20 years.

I don't know either of them in person as well, but what I've seen during the years was a helpful Andy Sneap who put aside whatever grudges he might have had to make the Sabbat reunion happen after Return To The Sabbat, who supported Martin Walkyier's ideas and projects on more than one occasion, and then, after everything seemed to click, a jamais content Martin. Not in the know of course, just an impression.
