3 of those songs have been quite regular plays.... unfortunately

it seems from my observation you don't enjoy the musicianship and love of melody much by your choices. Your confusion on the top Maiden songs with one being Infinite Dreams was another clue. Any reason or are you generally into the harder, heavier stuff? Just curious. I love the heavy stuff too but there's just something awesome about a well thought out and put together track that incorporates melody, rhythm, powerful vocals and a dash of heaviness.

I was surprised to see The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner on someone's list but judging by their other pics, it seems they may feel the same

Actually surprised that Shadows gets the nod from TBOS. Probably Top 3 on the album for me. Other than that, Maidenfans generally know how to pick the worst song on each album, good work, peeps
Agreed. That song is criminally underrated around here.
Oh sure, scratch your heads over Shadows - I'm goin' nuts o'er the slander lodged against The Apparition. ::)

Mine, musically 'Loneliness...' is good but I find the lyrics really annoying for some reason, (maybe it's rhyming 'head' and 'tread' 'stop' and 'drop').

I don't think you can claim that I don't like musicianship and melody. I like lots of more melodic stuff - a big fan of songs like No Prayer For the Dying, Empire of the Clouds, Afraid to Shoot Strangers, Revelations, and so on. I don't like Infinite Dreams so much because it never connected with me, that's all. It's fine, it's very good, but I just don't personally love it. I'm glad lots of people do. And yeah, I like strong rhythms, powerful beats, and fast playing. It's heavy metal.
