Interesting diagram, and probably very true.
Without pretending to know too much about US politics - I am surprised to see that two candidates are labeled as within both the Tea Party and the Establishment circles. I thought the Tea Party bunch were in favour of changing things up quite a bit (of course within the framework of Republican politics, but when I read "Establishment" I think of people who don't want to change things around much)? Or am I mistaken about what "establishment" is supposed to mean here?
I think they mean establishment (or traditional) Republicans, not establishment government.
Makes sense. Then "Moderate" would mean a Republican who is near the centre of the (overall) political spectre?
This isn't as extreme as it used to be. Most of the purple people are gone. 30 years ago it was all over the map. Hell, there were still some pre-Southern Strategy Democrats hanging on in the south.Republicans in some states would be Democrats in others and vice versa.

Orbital Sciences Corp. has ordered production and supply of 60 Energomash RD-181 engines, used on OSC Antares carrier rocket, deploying OSC Cygnus unmanned resupply vessel to ISS under NASA contract. While Lockheed Martin and Boeing are not able to procure Energomash RD-180 for Atlas V anymore, due to sanctions (rocket is used for military/intelligence).
Seems like a big plus for private space industry. Their main competitor, the military-industrial complex, cannot integrate Russian tech any more.
I know a guy who designs satellites for a living. Loves his job.Which works out nicely as my oldest kid will be graduating college in less than 2 years with an aerospace engineering degree
It would be interesting to see similar figures for all other states, and see which states and/or sectors are the ones responsible for the overall deficit.
