Hakuna your tatas, mate. The police was incompetent and fucked up, badly. The murderer is sentenced. I'm not religious, so I think there should be no exceptions to weapon bans. If other citizens aren't allowed to walk around with daggers, neither should religious folks.

What more is there to say? Half a year has passed and the trial is over. But good for you for perfomatively abusing a horrific situation to score political points.
 
Also, the left has had fundamental structural problems with police for ages at this point. ACAB and all that. Regardless of country, it doesn't matter if it's the UK, the US, Germany or the Netherlands (where the other day an asshole cop slammed an innocent pregnant woman to the ground, which induced early labor), leftists all over are criticizing the police. It's not us who are defending those pigs. It's not us who, when a 'foreigner' is attacked, abused or even killed by police, turn around and say stuff like "should've complied, should've listened to the officer" instead of condemning police brutality.

Glass houses and all that.

Police are useless, Britain is a fucked up place, the political class are mostly cunts, regardless of party and the police handling of this Novak incident is deplorable but if you're suggesting that they system is racist against white people then you need you head examined.

The video I've seen shows 2 white peelers hand cuffing a white guy. Maybe the stabbing was racially motivated, I've not read into it and the police are definitely culpable in his death but I don't see how the policing is racist in this case. It's negligent and amateurish in the extreme.

To me it looks like the Sikh guys called the police and the police took them at their word that Novak was up to no good. The Sikh father even tells them that Novak can't stay upright and has a mouthful of blood. It's absolutely mind boggling that the police didn't treat him as a casualty but I don't see white on white racism here. Doesn't make any sense. The simple explanation is that the police are just fuckin useless.
 
Novak's parents publicly stated that they do not want this tragedy to be weaponised into political point scoring.
