So Boris will now come back to Westminster with a deal involving a de facto customs border between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK? Hoping that the Parliament will be tired of all the shenanigans and just accept it, and hoping the country can cope with whatever happens in Northern Ireland as a consequence? Is that about it now?

Or Parliament gives thumbs down for the deal, there will be another extension and in the meantime there will be a new general election?
