I still played the video, even though I knew what would I vote for beforehand. BNW and DOD, of course.

OTGDY, however, gets a special mention. I like it a lot too.

081 advances directly to round 2.

I think it's very good. Janick delivers the goods in an unusual manner. Less dirty (garbage!) sounding than the majority of his solos. I like the way he chooses for more structure and consistent pace. Usually he's slow and melodic or fast and aggressive (and at times messy). This song and its tempo asked for something else. A most fitting job, lifting the song to a higher level.

The Fugitive solo is not very good... Sounds quite uninspired. Voting for TFF and Thin Line with the emphasis on TFF. It's so cool. I like the opening lick in particular. Great transition from Adrian's godlike solo.

"Heaven Can Wait" and "The Fugitive". Dave Murray remains my favourite guitar player of the three but too many of his solos are botched ("The Thin Line..." starts well and then nothing; "The Final Frontier" could have been great but is too repetitive)

How could this group be formed at the second stage of this tournament? I mean, all of the guitar solos here are just "ok".

TTLBLAH sounds amazing, but it's too, too short. All in all catchs my vote because it always gives me goosebumps and I have to choose at least one.

This is still round one, mirtilo. These are the solos that didn't make the first cut. It's a second chance round; a second sweep past to make sure nothing decent was missed in round one proper. Some of these might have been unlucky & been in a strong first group. There's been plenty of solos in this round which could have won their group outright the first time around...
