Wait so Stream doesn't get a chance to be in the top ten matchups, it's placed already?

Either way, nice to see it made Top 10 for sure.

My kids sing silly made-up lyrics to Transylvania whenever it comes on in my car, which is often: "I am Dracula, I live in Transylvania." (Try it along with the riff starting at about 0:50 of the video above - the words actually fit - but beware, you'll never hear the song the same way again.) I'm voting for it.

I was just on that riff when I read your post and tried to sing along to it. It fits perfectly :D.

I voted for Transylvania. There's just something about that great mixture of speed and harmony. Also, it's pretty darn amazing how it ends with those melancholic clean notes that also serve as the intro to Strange World.
The clean parts in Ktulu are very interesting but the song as a whole does not do what Transylvania does for me.

Maybe not 100% instrumentals, but nice instrumental sections in other songs are a bit of a Maiden thing to me.

Yea, instrumental Maiden works best in larger pieces. The instrumentals are good but without a full fleshed song to go with it they feel a bit lacking.

Maiden never really intended to do instrumentals, did they? Both Transylvania and Losfer Words were meant to have lyrics, Genghis Khan was written as a filler and Ides of March acts as an intro.

Transylvania is easier to like than Ktulu...but when you have gotten to like (or love) Ktulu, Transylvania can safely fly out the door...
