Ugh, so many tough choices.

Beyond, Omega, Among the Living, Unchained (ugh), Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure Evil (actually this was so tough as Red Barchetta is my #1 Rush), Land of the Free (so goddamn close again but went with LotF cause it needs more representation).

Pure Evil has more adventurous (or radical) changes (in both tempo and atmosphere) as in Iron Maiden's music. Not saying that's better but since we're on a Maidenfans forum I am not so surprised.

I don't see anything special regarding Pure Evil, heard it more than enough. Then again, I dislike power metal apart from a few songs.

Yea Pure Evil isn't even remotely close to Power Metal.

It's actually a really unfair paring IMO. Both songs are awesome but for different reasons; Pure Evil is one of my all time favorite Metal songs, but Red Barchetta is an early Rush favorite and still probably my top song from that album.

What is it then? Thrash? I can't say I love thrash apart from a few bands (namely Metallica, Megadeth and Testament).
