Commandment 11 - EVERY FAN MUST START TO SING HALLOWED BE THY NAME WHEN HEARING A BELL. THE BELL CAN BE IN THE TV, THE RADIO OR EVEN (AND MOSTLY) IN THE CHURCH. IT DOESN´T MATTER. JUST GO "I´M WAITING..."


Not a good idea if people in your class think Maiden are satanic....
My school is next to a church, and I tried this once. I was told to "quit my satanistic singing while the church bells are ringing" [!--emo&<_<--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/dry.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'dry.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Hells yea man,my high school is right down the block from a church so everyday around 12 I hear the bell and everytime I hear I think of 3 songs."Hells Bells","For Whom The Bell Tolls" and of course "Hallowed Be Thy Name".One time during class me and my friend heard the bell looked at each other and started singing it...
 
i remember when i had Physical Education in high school every time we would run a mile i would sing Run To The Hills around the field... my coach never did get it.... Times that i've been in church...when they say the Lords Prayer and get to the part that says hallowed be thy name...i have been tempted more than once to stand up and scream...YEAHHHHH YEAHH YEAHHHHH  [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

...and as for other bands - you should hear my four year old son singing Alice Cooper right now.

I believe it's a reference to the Killers cover art.

As far as the commandment to "SMILE WITH THERE TEETH"...
1. Turn off your caps lock.
2. It's 'their', not 'there'.
3. What other part of the body do you plan to smile with - your elbow?
 
Eddie has a hatchet on Killers, anyway. A hand axe is a primitive piece of stone fletched to have a point on the lower half, while the other half is smooth, so one can hold it.

I haven't seen this thread in a while, but shouldn't the writing of comandments be left to the author of the thread and the mod/administration saquad? Not that members don't have good ideas, but it could lead to a string of stupid statements (in a way it already has) instead of the original intentions by the thread's creator.

i'm in high school and my friend and my friend and i sing hallowed be thy name while running round the track
we also do it on rollercoasters and the like

also, we sing the intro while walking down the street, substituting garbage cans, newspaper boxen, or whatever's around for bells. it's fun having to run to get to the next garbage can and then jump kick it in time with your friend's singing
 
Somehow during a recent trip to Scotland. I hummed 'The Clansman' so much (absent mindedly of course) that my friend threatened me with playing Oasis songs if I didn't shut up.
 
first off sorry for responding so late, but i just registered even though ive been on this forum for a while now
second i think the commandments are great an all but i think some people are a little to obsessed with iron maiden even though there my all time favorite band but still

Please make a more substantial effort to use acceptable English in the future.
If necessary, you may consider that to be a commandment.

the best commandment is number 11... hehehe I allways do it on my school's regular masses... they're SOOOOOO long and boring I dont know how time can pass so slow...

And another commandment I allways follow is to begin to sing fear of the dark... when I'm walking a dark road... I begin "I am the man who walks alone.." allways in my farm at night.
