The pop-ups are making this forum near unusable

On mobile only. The ads now take up a full or half of the screen and pop up every time I click on a new page. It's getting ridiculous.

I agree though, the ads on this site are ridiculous.

Yes but it's annoying to have to do it on every page.

It used to be only the 1/5th of the page which also it was annoying as I had to click the arrow to see the notifications bell. Now I get half screen by default (2 clicks) and sometimes I get full screen too.

Get an adblock app for your phone. This is not an issue I have with my phone, because my phone has an adblocker. Which is what you should get. An adblocker. It'll block ads.

Get an adblock app for your phone. This is not an issue I have with my phone, because my phone has an adblocker. Which is what you should get. An adblocker. It'll block ads.

Maybe I'm a luddite but don't ad-blockers on Android require rooting the phone?

I have no idea, I use an Apple iPhone. I just assumed you could get "adblock" from whatever your version of the app store is.

It works like a charm! Wow! It’s like a different site now, a better site!

I use the Duck Duck Go browser and never get ads.
