I just saw your question to Janick replied in the fanzine (unless someone else caries the same nickname)!  :edmetal:

I too saw that question in the fan magazine and was curious as to whether it was our own resident Mid Distance Runner or just a coincidence!

congrats sir, thought the same thing but neglected to post.
the amount of times i send questions and this time some beggar gets two questions in  <_<
anyway    :ok:

My goodness that is definitely me...haha!! Insane!

Thanks for the post guys..I emailed a pair of questions back around April and now actually can't recall what the questions were (think one was asking about the Ed Force One onboard entertainment). Where on the Maiden website can they be found? Thanks.

How funny! Go Janick! \m/

thats the one
dunno about finding them on the site though
i believe his reply was along the lines of because the planes regularly stripped down they dont have inbuilt tvs or anything to extravagant. instead they all really do their own things. either read a book, go on their own laptops or read (mostly sleep though). he also mentioned them havingsomething in the overheads... cant quite remember what though      <_<
no swimming pools by the way  ;)

Yup, it's not a VIP aircraft. It's a transport workhorse. From the images and Flight 666, looks like business class for passengers, rest of valuable space is cargo bay.

I'd say it is a step below business class (at least the Flight 666 plane, the newer one looks a bit nicer).  It certainly is designed for practical needs.

The stuff is in the latest fanzine. Actually, I'm a bit pissed off because I'm 100% sure there was an earlier question round back in 2009 or 2010. I am still waiting for these answers, and that's why I didn't compete in 2011. I can imagine that my questions were not picked but it almost looks like they've completely ignored that round, and only pick the questions from 2011.

My other question was directed at Adrian regarding the choice of who plays which solo (I think) but its crazy amazing to think of Janick tapping away a response to my question of Ed Force One. I caught one of Dave's pics in Sydney in Feb so its been a Maiden bonanza of late.

Again, thanks for posting Foro and enjoy your upcoming TFF shows.

I just read your post in the official forum, nice one.  Hopefully you receive some answers.
Hey, if its no hassle are you able to provide a link/scan/copy&paste of the fanzine Q&A section - I'm only an online member and so don't receive the fanzines...totally cool if you can't, it will turn up on the net at some point.  Thanks man.

I assume I won't get into trouble for this, because it wouldn't hurt anyone when a member sees an answer to his own question? Here goes my typing:

The Mid-Distance Runner
Hello Janick, what type of entertainment is available to everyone on board of Ed Force One?

Believe it or not we have to make our own entertainment on board Ed Force One! It's a working plane, not full of jaccuzzis and theatres haha! In the back we have about a third of the plane off to load the gear in, then the crew are seated just behind the band and management, which can be anything upwards of sixty people. We don't have TV screens because the plane has to be stripped down after a tour and put back into normal commercial flight service. I like reading so we've got a little library in the overhead compartment. We do have our own little portable DVD players and Gadsy normally has a big bag of DVD's which we can watch if we want to. We can plug our computer in if we want, but we just make our own entertainment to suit our own needs. Or you can just go to sleep.....like a lot of people do!

You're welcome. Pretty long answer eh?  :)

20 questions and answers were published and the length of this answer comes at (a shared) position no. 5. ;)

Mind telling what your questions were?
