This sounds MUCH better than the video......And to think this is a recording off of the radio?  The CD should sound great.  Finally Kevin Shirley has maybe Produced a Maiden Album without letting Steve get his hands on it?

No........those are cymbals you are hearing.  I can see how you thought it was an acoustic though from the way the mix sounds
 
Out of all of the intro songs from the last 4 albums, I  still think Wicker Man is the best, but this is a close second.   I am wondering if this one will be the first on the setlist when they tour next spring.
 
It'll the be first song of the show next year, for sure, but first Satellite 15 will be played in playback, as an intro.

I can't wait to hear Satellite 15, it sounds like it is definitely something new for Maiden
