11 shows (maybe more, honestly, I think I lost some concert tickets from when I was like 16 years old) = Megadeth
9 shows = Clutch & Iced Earth
8 shows = Symphony X & Dream Theater (they will move up to 9 in two weeks)
6 shows = Armored Saint, Sabaton & William Elliott Whitmore
5 shows = Jimmy Eat World, Joe Satriani, Iron Maiden (they will move up to 6 at the end of this summer)
Why have you seen Megadave so much?

I was going to make a list, but it would have been like an 8 way tie for second place. Iron Maiden is obviously 1st with 6 shows (soon to be nine). I’ve seen a few bands twice. Queensryche, Metallica, Megadeth, Ghost, Alice In Chains just to name a few.

Update: Cannot go to Mastodon, I’ve cleared out my vacation time at work with my Maiden shows and my cruise I’m going on.
Statement retracted.

Really hoping UFO announce more NA shows, been listening to some of their live stuff from the tour debut, Love to Love gave me chills

Saw them last night, excellent show. Phil Mogg was much more sober than he was the last time I saw them (I must add he still sang excellent that time despite drinking 6 pints during the gig). He spotted some guys patch jacket and said I could tell you a few stories about all them bands on there, he singled out Judas Priest and then said that he shouldn't air their dirty linen in public, he said the story was about Glenn Tipton and Glenns a nice guy etc. so he wouldn't tell. Sounds like we nearly heard something funny or controversial.

Well Priest did just ask them to open their upcoming NA leg but the band said no...

Tomorrow I will witness my first live music of 2019 after a three month dry spell since seeing Kreator in December. :applause:

I will be seeing Kamelot, Evergrey and Visions of Cheeselantis in Birmingham tomorrow evening, although I am mostly going for Evergrey which will make it the fifth year running that I've seen them. I did see Kamelot twice last year and this time I have been listening to their setlist in advance as I wasn't familar with many songs last year. The best thing about Kamelot's live shows is that they have good supports: Cellar Darling last year and Evergrey this year. Much better than The Raven Age. <_<

On Sunday I will see Cellar Darling in a pub in Birmingham. This is a very timely show as their new album is out tomorrow! I will probably buy it at the show and get them to sign it if they hang around after their set.

I have a couple more gigs next week too, so I'm making up for the barren three months by doing four gigs in one week.

22/3 Kamelot/Evergrey/Visions of Atlantis, Birmingham
24/3 Cellar Darling, Birmingham
26/3 Skarlett Riot, Oxford
29/3 The Lounge Kittens, London
16/4 Avantasia, London
1/6 Alexisonfire, London
6/6 Symphony X, London
29/6 Gojira, Birmingham
30/6 Demons & Wizards, London
5/8 Iron Maiden, Montreal
8-11/8 Scorpions, Sabaton, Anthrax, Powerwolf, Soilwork etc. @ Bloodstock Festival
28/9 Ancient Bards, Birmingham
31/10 Beyond the Black, London
25/11 Halestorm, Nottingham

At the weekend I got a ticket for Beyond the Black's London show. They're a fairly cheesey and poppy female-fronted Metal band from Germany. I saw them support Epica a couple of years ago and they were pretty good. This will also be the second year running I've been to gigs at the Boston Music Room in London on Halloween. #spooky

Saw them on Wednesday there. Crackin show. Much bigger crowd and better buzz than when I saw them in the same venue a couple of years ago. Mogg was great, very impressed with him especially for a man his age. He had good banter and drank several pints along the way. We got a bit of chat about the drummer catchin somethin from a stripper in Germany or some such. Good stuff.

Next up is John J Presley next week. Never heard of him but saw the ad and checked him out, seems good, bit Nick Cavey maybe.

Tickets to be bought include Happy Mondays, Amon Amarth at a castle and Snarky Puppy at the same venue where Stairway was first performed live.

@srfc do you know The Scratch? Seein them in Whelans in a couple of weeks. Only know a couple of songs but theres a few of us goin, should be a bit of craic.
