Police.

It pissed me off back in the day, but now I'm glad they broke up. They were out of gas, about to be completely dominated by Sting (already well on the way). If they'd made another album, it probably would have sucked, just like most of Sting's solo music.

Grand Funk. I rediscovered these guys a few months ago. Been listening to them quite a bit.
