A few months ago my buddy Josh and I were having a few beers and discussing Maiden and started joking around about doing a podcast. Well, we decided to actually go for it and Talking Maiden : the Podcast of the Beast was born. We basically get together once a week, have a beer or two and talk about Iron Maiden. We are having a blast doing it.

Our latest episode was published today:

Episode #15 - Maiden Canada : The guys have an in depth discussion with 'Canada's hardest working tribute to Iron Maiden'... Maiden Canada.

Any suggestions, ideas or comments would be great. The more feedback the better.

I will be updating this thread with information as new episodes are released.

I've listened to about half of this podcast's episodes. Really enjoy the passion that these guys feel for the band. Their episode on Blaze convinced me to go back and relisten to Virtual XI. It had been at least a decade since I last span it. And I loved it!

I like the long episodes too. Gives them time to go off on entertaining tangents. And they read out my Top Album Closers email on their latest podcast. Good dudes.

I listened to the "best closers" episode a little while ago - was very interesting hearing the arguments for the ones selected (though I prefer my personal list :D ). Will definitely check out some of your other ones as well - keep up the good work!

Any possibilites you guys could try to book interviews with someone close to the band, or from their history? Roadies, ex members, crew?
