Steve Harris

Extensive BL tour this fall is good for a potential recording of a new Maiden album early next year. Let's see Adrian's schedule now. Quite a busy year for Simon. And for Steve, hope he will have a desire to go straight into the studio after December.

Btw, another cool artwork with the lion for a poster.
Adrian said on Planet Rock this morning that he and Ritchie were looking at an early 2026 tour.

Still no Guildford gig.

A shame, as it would have been nice to see Steve and Stray on the same bill again (back in 2003 I saw Stray support Iron Maiden on the GMETID tour).
The British Lion dates have always come across as a selection of dates that are convenient for the band and randomly spread. Early on they played loads of shows in the Kent area and not many anywhere else.

No East of England shows, but I would go to a Guildford gig. Might crash on campus!

Yes, back to the UK for just one day, then another show in Germany afterwards. I can't say that I really see the plan here either.

I got annoyed so I made this - Maiden Calendar for 2025.
No studio time this year, I hope something happens Jan/Feb 2026 onward.

Thank you! Now we have to analyze the pattern and recognize the master plan, which then leads to realizing when a new album will be recorded! :D

How about the theory that he with his shows in December wants to keep fit for recordings at the beginning of the year 2026?
(yes, ok, wishful thinking, although...)

Do they always have a backup drummer? I thought they only had one when Nicko was under the weather.

Must be a fair chance Steve will focus on the new BL album for the next few months over 5 years since the last one came out.....

I'd love it, but it seems to me they only have two unreleased tracks, while they already had written and played live most of the songs of the second before going to the studio.

First album had songs written like in 1990 (A World Without Heaven and Eyes of the Young are the oldest IIRC), and they played several songs which ended up on The Burning when I saw them in 2013 and 2015. So some songs were at least 7-8 years old on the second album.

I reckon Steve and the band wants to put out another album, but I wouldn't bet on it being doable anytime soon.

There was 8 years between the first and the second after all, and they had a few more songs ready to go then.

I would reckon/assume based on nothing but their age they have backups in case people can't play
