I truly can't believe that intro made it to the record. I mean, there is musical referencing and then there's just straight up copying yourself! I know Janick "wrote" this riff, but come on, dude.
Once we hit the swashbuckling rhythm Janick is more famous for, the song is pretty alright! Bruce sounds great, if strained. That weird swirling riff in between the verses is really cool (as is the lead riff that follows it after the repeat). The solo sections sees all three guys get a go (honestly that's one of the highlights of this album) and the "into the valley of death" bit is great.
Something about the song feels a bit cobbled together. The "woah oh" section feels forced and the transition into another solo unnecessary.
