As done with all previous Maiden studio albums, traditionally by @Forostar but since he has been AWOL I've decided to create the thread myself.
You can see see the opening post of the debut album here and find all other albums in their respective subforums.

Here is mine:
Senjutsu - 7
Stratego - 9
Writing on the Wall - 8
Lost in a Lost World - 9
Days of Future Past - 10
The Time Machine - 9
Darkest Hour - 6
Death of the Celts - 10
The Parchment - 10
Hell on Earth - 10
Overall average - 8.8

On the whole, a very strong album and one that is likely to climb up my Maiden rankings. I would say right now for reunion albums it's below AMOLAD and Final Frontier, although I'm starting to think this will overtake Final Frontier as well. I'll be curious to see how it holds when I re-rate those albums' songs, but honestly I find Senjutsu to be a triumph that epitomizes everything I love about the reunion era. The Harris trilogy at the end may just be the greatest Maiden moment of all. Really pleased with this one!

On first listen I was really disappointed with the title track as I was hoping for it to pick up the momentum, similar to If Eternity Should Fail. I feel this album suffered the most out of the reunion albums from being bloated and/or boring at times. A couple songs should have been trimmed or cut completely.

I really love the way Nicko sounds on this album. The three amigos also do an outstanding job as usual. Steve sounds great of course, and Bruce sounds really good as well, even though he is singing in a safer range.

Perhaps time will be kinder to Senjutsu.

If I were to edit the album of Senjutsu, I would remove a couple songs to trim the fat, and to make it shorter and sweeter.
This would be the new track listing:

1. The Writing on the Wall
2. Stratego
3. Lost in a Lost World

4. Days of Future Past
5. The Time Machine

6. The Parchment

7. Hell on Earth

Senjutsu the song is too plodding and boring imo, a very weak album opener, TWOTW would be much better in that regard. Darkest Hour is just a bit boring as well, and I usually love Maiden ballads but that one doesn’t do anything for me. And DotC is another generic overlong song. The spaces between tracks is how it would fit onto a vinyl. We don’t need triple LP studio albums, let’s bring it back down a bit Maiden.

Their weakest post-reunion album. Better than anything the band released during the 90s though.

A bit surprised you rated it this high, you really don't hate it as much as I thought, heh. The 90's were definitely the band's Dark Ages...

Senjutsu and Stratego would have been higher if the production didn't make them sound like the speakers are at the bottom of a swimming pool three miles away. Death Of The Celts would have gotten a 10 if not for the clipping that always takes me out of the song.
